Google Tasks is a web-based service by Google which allows users to create tasks and to-do lists. It provides an easy way to manage all your tasks in one place. Users can add their tasks to Google Tasks by entering them into the search box or by clicking on the ‘Add’ button that appears when you hover over the ‘My tasks’ label. Google Tasks is basically a to-do manager or a task management application. It is used by many people all over the world and is supported by several mobile phones, email services and other applications.

Eric then replies saying that he understands! John Smith then asks Eric if he has bought the tickets yet? Eric then replies saying that he did not have any time yet but he has already added a task in his Google Tasks account about buying these tickets! John Smith then replies saying that it is not enough! Eric then replies again saying that he will buy the tickets tomorrow morning! John Smith then replies saying that it is better than nothing at least! However, John Smith would have wasted a lot of time needlessly if Eric had replied with just an link to his Google Tasks list rather than adding ‘I already added a task about buying these tickets’ into the existing exchange of messages!
