Pipedrive is a sales management software. It was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Estonia. It has more than 30,000 customers across the world. It is an online-based software that can be accessed through any device. It is used to organize your leads, manage your sales pipeline, track your activity, create quotes and invoices, and much more. The software can be integrated with many other apps and services such as Slack, Salesforce, Zapier, MailChimp, Google Analytics and many others. In this article I will be outlining the most important features of Pipedrive and its integration with Office 365.
Office 365 is a cloud-based service that offers many features such as Exchange Online, Skype for Business Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. It is a combination of Microsoft’s popular office suite, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Windows Live services. As per Microsoft’s website, “Office 365 makes it easy for businesses to connect people and information anywhere on any device.” There are three different plans available. These are referred to as ‘versions’. They include Enterprise E1, Enterprise E3 and Enterprise E5. The Enterprise E1 plan comes with four licenses for Microsoft Exchange Online, Skype for business online, 20GB of file storage on OneDrive for Business and many other features. The Enterprise E3 plan includes all the above plus unlimited cloud storage for Skype for Business and voice mail cover for up to 250 users. Finally, the Enterprise E5 plan includes all the above plus advanced threat protection with Exchange Online Advanced Threat Protection; compliance management with eDiscovery; 14GB mailbox size; 60 calling minutes per month within North America; advanced security features; a $200 credit towards Skype for Business Online; 25GB of SharePoint Online storage; unlimited OneDrive storage; a dedicated support line; plus many other features. The Enterprise E5 plan costs $12.50 per user per month and the cost of each additional user beyond the first user is $3 per user per month. The Enterprise E3 plan costs $8.33 per user per month and the cost of each additional user beyond the first user is $1 per month per user. The Enterprise E1 plan costs $2 per user per month and the cost of each additional user beyond the first user is $0.50 per user per month. These plans can be scaled up or down depending on your needs and requirements.
One of the most common requests that we get from our users is that they want to integrate their Pipedrive accounts with their Office 365 account. This allows them to have access to all their data in one place. This is something we always wanted to do but it was not easy to implement at first because there were some technical issues invpved and also there were some legal concerns on part of Microsoft about the integration of their product with an external third-party product like ours. However, these problems were overcome eventually and we managed to develop a system that enabled us to integrate Pipedrive with Office 365. Once you integrate Pipedrive with Office 365 you have access to all your data in one place which makes it very convenient for you to access all your data without needing to switch between two different platforms. Below I will outline how you can go about integrating Pipedrive with Office 365.
Firstly you need to log into your Pipedrive account using your credentials (username and password. When you log into your account you will see an option called ‘Integrations’ which will appear on the left hand side of your screen under the ‘Settings’ tab at the top of your screen. You need to click on ‘Integrations’ to open up the integrations area of your Pipedrive account which will appear on the right hand side of your screen below the ‘Settings’ tab at the top of your screen. Now you need to click on ‘Office 365’ which is the option that appears at the top of your screen at this point. Next you will see another set of options appear on your screen which will give you various different ways to integrate Pipedrive with Office 365. You need to click on ‘Set up email sync’ which is the option that appears at the top of this section under the title ‘Connect Pipedrive with Office 365’. This will lead you to a page where you will need to fill out some details such as what type of Office 365 plan you have, your domain name etc. You will also need to choose which type of integration you want with Office 365 if you are choosing a different option than email sync then you need to enter all other relevant details as well as confirm your email address so that Pipedrive can send you verification links etc. After filling out this form you need to click on ‘Next’ which will take you back to the previous set of options where you need to click on ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page which will activate your integration with Office 365. At this point, you should receive an email from Pipedrive asking you to confirm your new integration with Office 365 by clicking on a link at the end of this email which will take you back to your Pipedrive account where you need to click on ‘Confirm’ in order to complete this process successfully. After confirming your integration with Office 365 you should receive another email from Pipedrive asking you to verify that Office 365 has been integrated with Pipedrive successfully by clicking on a link which will take you back to your Office 365 account where you need to click on ‘Verify now’ in order to complete this process successfully. Once verified, this process will be completed successfully and now both your products will be integrated allowing integration between both these products via email sync as well as via other methods such as importing leads from Pipedrive into Office 365 or exporting contact information from Office 365 into Pipedrive etc. To learn more about how this integration works visit our blog post here where we explain how email sync works in detail.
