The integration between Odoo and Digistore24 is mainly based on Magento. Magento is an ecommerce platform which supports almost all payment gateways, shipping methods, and shipping providers. This means that it is easy to integrate Odoo with Magento. Both of these platforms can be integrated via API. Digistore24 has a dedicated API which can be used to integrate it with Odoo. In order to do this, Odoo needs to be installed on a VPS or server. After installing the Odoo extension for Magent, you need to add a new API Key which will be used for authentication. The next step is to configure the store in Odoo. The store should have the same currency as the one used in Odoo. In order to install the Magento module, you need to install it via command line. Then, you need to create a custom module based on the Magento core module. You can then import the store in Odoo. To do this, you need to go to the configuration part in Odoo and choose the “Import from FTP” option. Once the store gets imported, you need to set up the billing rules which will allow you to contrp when the invoices get created in Odoo. In order to do this, you need to navigate to Configuration > Configuration > Sales > Billing rules > Customer Invoice Settings. By selecting the “Customer Invoice Settings” tab, you can set up your billing rules by choosing “Invoice settings”, “Create invoices on”, and “Invoice Date Range”. The next step is to add lines in Odoo via Products > Catalog > Add product. Once the product has been added, you need to map it to an existing Magento product so that it can be synced with Odoo. For this purpose, you need to click on “Configure Product” and then select “Please map a product id” and then “Enter a product id” and then select the appropriate product from the drop down menu. You will then be able to sync the data by going into Service > Connector and choosing “Sync products”. Fplow the instructions on screen and then save changes via “Save Changes” button. This will sync the products in Odoo based on the mapping made in step 6. You can then add variable information for each product such as price, description, quantity, tax, etc. via Products > Catalog > Edit Product > Variables tab > Variable Information tab. Once all variable information has been added, you can move onto the next step which is to set up shipping methods and shipping providers in Odoo. For this purpose, you will need to navigate to Configuration > Configuration > Sales > Shipping methods and shipping providers. Here you will need to add a new shipping provider and then add a new shipping method under it. Once a new shipping method has been created, click on “Select methods” and then select the appropriate shipping provider from the drop down menu provided. Now you can click on “Add new method”, enter the name of your new shipping method and then click on save changes button. After adding all necessary shipping methods and providers, you will be able to configure your billing rules for each shipping provider separately via Configuration > Configuration > Sales > Billing Rules > Shipping Providers tab > Edit Billing Rule > Shipping Provider tab > Set up billing rules. You will now need to set up your currency rate in Payment processor >> Currency Rates section via Configuration >> Configuration >> Sales >> Payment processor >> Currency Rates tab >> Add rate for currency… field. After setting up your currency rate, you will need to set up your taxes via Configuration >> Configuration >> Sales >> Tax rates tab >> Add tax for country… field. After doing this setup, you will now be able to find out how much tax is applicable for each product by going into Inventory >> Inventory Management >> Products >> Product List page by filtering products based on tax rates using filter option located at top right hand side of screen. Once your products have been filtered based on their tax rates, you will see how much tax is applicable for each product by clicking on “Taxes” link for each product from list page of products in sales view. Now we have configured our store in Odoo. Let us now move onto configuring data import from Digistore24 into Odoo.
