For many of us, we find ourselves in a situation where we are managing far more customers than we can handle by ourselves. With the limited time and resources available to us, we have to get creative when it comes to managing our customer relationships.I am going to be talking about how I integrate Odoo CRM with ActiveCampaign. Odoo CRM is an open source ERP that can be installed on your own web host. It was written in Python and has been around for many years now. There are two versions of the software, Odoo Online and Odoo Enterprise. Both version options are free to use, but you are limited in the number of records that you can store.
Odoo CRM is an application that allows you track your contacts and leads, as well as manage their information. This application can help you stay organized, helping you remember important dates, tasks and deadlines.The most impressive thing about this application is the amount of customization that you can do with it. You can make changes to the appearance of the application with just a few clicks of the mouse. You can also add modules to the application so that it fits your business needs.
ActiveCampaign is an email marketing application that helps you automate your marketing campaigns. It allows you to send emails to contacts based on events and conditions that happen in your business. If you sell products online, I would recommend that you check out ActiveCampaign.
To integrate these two applications together, I used Zapier. Zapier is a service that helps connect two applications together. It will take what happens in one application and send it off to another application. To get started, visit Zapier.com and sign up for a free account. Once you have signed up, create a new Zapier integration by clicking "Make a Zap!".After creating a new integration, I searched through over 500 possible applications that you can integrate together. If you do not see the application that you want to integrate on the list, you can also search for other applications to integrate together. For example, if you were looking for a way to integrate Gmail with Trello, you could search for Gmail and Trello in the search bar at the top of the page. You could then add Gmail to the left side and Trello to the right side of the integration application.Once you have found an app on the list or searched for another app, click on the app and then click on "Start Making Zaps!".You should then be taken to a new screen which will show you exactly what data from each application will be sent to each other application. For this example, I set up my Odoo CRM with ActiveCampaign so that whenever I created a new contact in my Odoo CRM, ActiveCampaign would receive a new email subscriber. To do this, I clicked on New Subscriber from Odoo in the left-hand cpumn, and then clicked on New Contact in the right-hand cpumn. After that, I needed to choose which field I wanted to use as my trigger for sending off the new subscriber to ActiveCampaign. I chose "First Name" because I wanted ActiveCampaign to receive a new subscriber whenever I created a new contact in my Odoo CRM with a first name that did not already exist as an email subscriber in my ActiveCampaign list. Clicking on Save Changes will take you back to your Zapier dashboard with this new integration already saved!I have included pictures below so that you know how your Zapier dashboard should look like after setting up this integration:

1. Creating Segmented Email CampaignsSegmenting your email subscribers will allow you to more effectively target your audience with advertising. For example, if you have 10 different email lists, you could send 10 different versions of your email campaign to different lists based on who they are and what they like. You could then exclude subscribers from receiving certain email campaigns based on their segmentation as well. For example, if there was a particular segmentation that liked one version of your email campaign but disliked another version, you could exclude them from receiving the version they do not like without excluding them from all of your email campaigns . This could save you time since you do not have to send out multiple versions of your email campaign anymore; instead, you just need to send out one email campaign and have it automatically delivered to everyone based on their segmentation properties .2. Being Able to Track Email Campaign PerformanceIf you are using ActiveCampaign as your email marketing application, it will allow you track how effective your email campaigns are at getting people to take action. This is important because it will allow you make changes to your email campaigns before sending them out again to improve your return rate and conversion rates . It will also allow you filter out emails that are not performing well, so that you can spend more time focusing on better performing emails .3. Being Able to Send Automatic Emails Based On Events From Your BusinessActiveCampaign allows you schedule automatic emails to be sent out based on events from your business . For example, every time someone makes an order from your website or someone signs up for your newsletter, an email could be sent out thanking them for making a purchase or signing up for your newsletter . This would help build relationships between yourself and your customers while also giving them incentive to continue making purchases from you . Another benefit of this is that emails could be automatically sent out reminding customers of upcoming events from your business . An example would be sending out an email reminder two days ahead of time so that customers have enough time to think about it before an event takes place . 4. Being Able To Schedule Automatic Emails Based On Client Tasks And Deadlines Another benefit of integrating Odoo CRM with ActiveCampaign is being able to schedule automatic emails based on client tasks and deadlines . This could include sending out weekly reminders about upcoming deadlines or sending out reminders for upcoming appointments . This could help clients stay informed about their tasks by sending them automatic reminders , helping them keep up with their tasks . This could also help reduce no-shows for appointments since it will allow clients to easily remember when their appointment is due . You could even go one step further by setting up automatic emails based on missed appointments . Sending out an automatic email after a missed appointment could be a good way of being able to maintain contact with clients who might otherwise forget about your business . These missed appointment emails could also include information about why they missed their appointment so that they can easily learn from what happened when they missed their appointment , preventing them from missing any more appointments .III .
