In this text, I will show you how to use Odoo ERP Self Hosted and Smartsheet together. First, install Odoo ERP Self Hosted on your own server. Then, install Smartsheet. Since Odoo ERP Self Hosted is an open source spution, we need to configure it for the integration with Smartsheet. In order to do that, we need to add Odoo modules called “Webhooks” to Odoo ERP Self Hosted. Webhooks are API integrations which consist of web service calls between Odoo ERP Self Hosted and third-party applications. As an example for integrating Odoo ERP Self Hosted and Smartsheet, I will show you how you can transfer tasks from Odoo ERP Self Hosted into Smartsheet. I will show you how to create a new task in Odoo ERP Self Hosted and how to create a new task in Smartsheet using the webhook integration.In our team environment of Odoo ERP Self Hosted, we have one master user and two normal users. The master user is the administrator of our Odoo environment. We want to create a status report about tasks for every member of our team. In order to generate a list of tasks for every team member, we need to transfer all tasks from Odoo ERP Self Hosted into Smartsheet. So our first goal is to transfer all tasks from Odoo ERP Self Hosted into Smartsheet.The second step is to create a new task in Smartsheet for every task in Odoo ERP Self Hosted. Since most of our tasks in Odoo ERP Self Hosted are marked as “To Do”, we want to categorize our tasks into two groups; “To Do” and “Done”. When we have two different lists of tasks in Odoo ERP Self Hosted, we can use an action on task creation in Smartsheet. The action will move all To Do tasks from Odoo ERP Self Hosted into the group “To Do” in Smartsheet and all Done tasks from Odoo ERP Self Hosted into the group “Done” in Smartsheet.
