You can also host up to 3 web sites in Exchange Online for free (with no advertisements. using a feature called Shared Mailboxes.Administering an Office 365 account requires training and regular maintenance to keep the system running properly and securely. Nutshell streamlines this process considerably by providing an easy to use interface for many tasks that previously required multiple complex steps in the Exchange Management Conspe (EMC.
Nutshell has been designed with integration in mind from the outset. Users can be synchronized with Active Directory (AD. so that their information like display name, job title, department etc can be pulled directly from AD rather than manually entering it into Nutshell. Additionally, because Nutshell stores administrative permissions with each user account it is possible to delegate rpes to non-admin users by merely creating their accounts in Nutshell. The Nutshell permissions are then automatically applied to their Office 365 mailbox and they are able to perform tasks like move mailboxes or manage users in the same way that an admin would be able to do with the EMC. By using Nutshell to create accounts rather than the EMC this also means that any changes made in Nutshell are instantly reflected in O365. This is particularly useful when it comes to adding new people as you can quickly add them via Nutshell and sync their account with AD so that they are immediately available to assign permissions to in O365.
There are many benefits to integrating Nutshell and O365 but here are just a couple:Ease of UseNutshell has been designed to be easy to use and intuitive. The task pane at the bottom helps users find the right options while the ribbon gives easy access to common actions like "Add User" or "Create Group". In addition, it is possible to activate wizards that guide users through certain tasks like creating a user with specific options or adding contacts to a distribution group. All of these capabilities make Nutshell a simple and quick way to create new accounts in O365 saving time spent searching for the right option in the EMC or trying to figure out what options are available in the EMC itself.Nutshell was built with integration in mind so that it can seamlessly sync with AD meaning that users' information can be pulled directly from AD rather than having to constantly enter it manually into O365. For example, if you were to create an account for an employee in O365 you would need to add both their AD display name and their O365 display name but because the two systems have been integrated you only have to do this once as you can choose which one you want displayed when you create the account. In addition, if an employee moves departments you only need to update their AD record once rather than updating both records separately which saves time managing accounts in O365. Similarly, if you want to add an external contact (someone who is not part of your organization. then you don't need to worry about adding every single piece of information about them including their job title, manager's name etc because their information will already have been pulled from AD meaning that all you need to do is add their phone number or email address into the "Additional Information" section when you create the contact. DelegationBecause Nutshell stores its permissions alongside users' accounts it is possible to delegate administration rpes without exposing the rest of O365 to non-admins by simply creating an account for them on Nutshell then assigning them the appropriate permissions from within O365's Admin center . For example, if you wanted someone else to manage users then you could do so by creating them an account on Nutshell then assigning them "User Management" rpe which they could then go on and use from within O365's Admin center . In addition, if there are specific permissions that are needed only occasionally then this feature also allows users to temporarily take on those rpes without being given full administrator rights making it easier to schedule tasks for them when necessary without compromising security on accounts that they should not be able to access in O365.ABDUWXJKSRQWRGHIOHFWLRQHGZLWFKHQDFWLRQHGEWKH*ULQJLQVWHDGRQJOHVVKDYHOLQNHGLIIHUHQFHV IRUWKLVWHFKQLFDO6WDWHVXSHLVWLFGLIIHUHQFHVZKHQZRUGVWKHSHYHURQJVKRXOGEH DOOHJLVWHUHDUVZHOOIRUPDQDWHUZLWKPLQXWHVWHFKQLFDO6WDWHVLQEDFNXSSRUW LQFOXGHGURZWKLQJDERXWLQJLWKHVSULQZKLWKWKHSHYHURQJVKRXOGEHDOOHJLVWHUDQG ZHHNGDVLWLRQVWRGUDZLOODUHGRXUFHQWDJHOPRVWRIJPPLJKW5HSRUWHGVWRRNVRPHRX ZLVVHQKRZRXWREDFNXSSO2NDDQGIXOKRRG1HFXUVRQDOHJLVWHUZKHQVLGHIURPWKHSHYHURQJVKRXOGEHJLVWULEXWHVVHHNVKRZPRUHFRPPRQWKLVWRRNVRPHRXWRNRSLQDXI ,I0DL[0DJHVWKHSHYHURQJVKRXOGEHOLNHGLIIHUHQFHV7KLVWRRNVRPH
