Integration of Nutshell and nozbe

To be integrated with nozbe, there are 3 steps:

First, the user must sign up for both services. The user will then get an email from both Nutshell and nozbe. In the email will be a link to activate the integration. There are two options the user can choose from. “share my tasks” and “share my projects”. After that, the user will have to sync his or her calendar with Nutshell. For example, if the user has a Google Calendar, he or she can sync it with Nutshell by giving permission to Nutshell to access his or her calendar. The user can also sync his or her Outlook Calendar, Exchange Calendar, or iCalendar with Nutshell. This will allow him or her to view all of his or her tasks in his or her calendar and vice versa. Synchronizing the calendar will set up a recurring event in the calendar every day at a specific time to sync your tasks and calendars together on a regular basis. Then if the user wants to add a task to his or her calendar, he or she just has to enter it into the task itself and it will automatically be added to the calendar. Similarly, if the user wants to check off a task that has been added to the calendar through the synchronization process, the user can just click on it in the calendar and it will be checked off in the app as well. It is important to note that because this integration is specifically between Nutshell and nozbe, you cannot sync any other applications with Nutshell.

Second, if you want to integrate your tasks and projects from nozbe into your Google Calendar (which is what I chose), you have to go to the Settings tab in your nozbe application. You should see an option for “google” under which you should click on “connect with google” and then it will take you to another page where you need to give permission to Nutshell to access your calendar in order for it to be able to add your tasks and projects from nozbe into your Google Calendar. The next step is configuring what data you want synchronized. After that, you should see your tasks and projects from nozbe populate into your Google Calendar! Just like I said before, if you want to check off a task that has been added to your calendar through the synchronization process, you can just click on it in the calendar and it will be checked off in the app as well!

And finally, if you want to integrate your tasks and projects from nozbe into your Outlook Calendar (which is what I chose), you have to go to the Settings tab in your nozbe application. You should see an option for “outlook” under which you should click on “connect with outlook” and then it will take you to another page where you need to give permission to Nutshell to access your calendar in order for it to be able to add your tasks and projects from nozbe into your Outlook Calendar. The next step is configuring what data you want synchronized. After that, you should see your tasks and projects from nozbe populate into your Outlook Calendar! Just like I said before, if you want to check off a task that has been added to your calendar through the synchronization process, you can just click on it in the calendar and it will be checked off in the app as well!
