Facebook Messenger is one of the most popular instant messaging apps. It has more than 1.2 billion monthly users. It is available on Android, iOS, Windows, and web versions. Nozbe is a project management application that allows users to create a list of tasks within different projects. Tasks can be added to the schedule, assigned to co-workers or even removed from the list if they are completed. Now days, nozbe has integrated with Facebook Messenger for better communication.
On November 30th, 2016, nozbe announced that it had integrated its project management application with Facebook messenger. It was promised that nozbe users would be able to create a new project in nozbe, then drag and drop a task from their Facebook messenger thread into that project’s task list. It was also promised that users would be able to update any project in nozbe from Facebook messenger by dragging a task from their Facebook messenger thread into the project and contacting the right person.
On December 5th, 2016, nozbe announced that the integration of nozbe and Facebook Messenger had been released for all users. Users could now set up a conversation with any user and type “zb” at the beginning of the message. The message would be sent as an action message. Once the action message was sent, nozbe sent out a notification to the user that an action had been sent. The action message would be added to the task list of the project that the user had specified when they created the conversation in nozbe. The user could then complete the action by clicking on the action message within nozbe. They would see all of the relevant information about the action along with a link to the relevant project page where the task was located.
The integration of nozbe and Facebook Messenger can help many businesses work more effectively together. Users can just send a message to their project manager through Facebook Messenger and it will be automatically added to a project’s action list within nozbe. One example is that a user might want to tell their boss when they will be home after work.
