Nozbe is a web based personal task management top, which helps you to manage your tasks and communicate with team members. It is available for Android, iOS, Web, Mac and Windows platform. Nozbe is used by over 2,00,000 customers around the globe to manage their tasks.
ClickSend SMS allows you to send free SMS from your browser through your device. You can also set up scheduled SMS to be sent daily or weekly. It is integrated with popular applications like Zoho CRM, Sugar CRM and Salesforce.com (via Zapier.
In order to integrate nozbe with ClickSend SMS, you need to have a ClickSend account. ClickSend account includes a ClickSend ID which is used for sending bulk SMS. Nozbe provides the option to integrate with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Once you log in to nozbe page, you will get the option to add your Facebook or Twitter account. In this process, nozbe will ask for authorization to access your Facebook or Twitter account. Now, you need to create new application in Facebook or Twitter. This application will provide you with an API key and secret key. These keys are required for integration with nozbe.
Once you integrate nozbe with Facebook/Twitter, you need to create a new application in ClickSend. You will need to provide some basic information about your business for creating new application. This information will help you to setup a unique ClickSend ID and Password in nozbe. The next step is to configure the API key and secret key provided by Facebook/Twitter in ClickSend account. This can be done by going to Settings > API Keys in ClickSend account. Once the API key and secret key is configured in ClickSend account, you can configure it in nozbe by going to Settings > Integrations > Connections tab. Here, select the connection type as Web Service and enter the API Key and Secret Key in respective fields. After configuring the above settings, you need to click on Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
Now, we will see how to schedule SMS in nozbe using ClickSend service. First of all, configure ClickSend service as integration connection in nozbe free trial account. Then, go to the Task List screen of your project and click on the Send Push Notification button under Inbox. This will open a new popup window asking you about the message subject, message body and who would like to receive the message (To, CC, BCC. For sending SMS messages, you can use predefined templates or customize it according to your needs. Let’s see how to create a new template using default templates available in this screen:
For creating a new SMS template:
1)Go to the Task List screen of your project and click on the Send Push Notification button under Inbox section.
2)Click on New Template link in popup window and provide a name for it in Name field (for example. Nozbe-SMS. Then click on Save button at bottom of the popup screen.
3)Now go back to Task List screen and click on Edit link beside newly created template name (for example. Nozbe-SMS. This will open another popup window for editing the template where you can see three drop-down menus – Subject, Message Body and Recipients. Select one of the default templates from these drop-down menus or create a new template from scratch by clicking on +Create Template button at bottom right corner of the screen. Then provide required details like subject line and message body for new template as shown below:
For Scheduling Message:
1)Click on the Send Push Notification button under Inbox section of Task List screen and then click on Edit link beside newly created template name (for example. Nozbe-SMS. This will open another popup window for editing the template where you can see three drop-down menus – Subject, Message Body and Recipients. Select one of the default templates from these drop-down menus or create a new template from scratch by clicking on +Create Template button at bottom right corner of the screen. Then provide required details like subject line and message body for new template as shown below:
2)Select Recipient field and click on Schedule Message button at bottom left corner of the popup window. This will open another popup window where you can specify Time Zone, Repeat Interval and Stop Date/Time for scheduled message:
3)Click on Done link at bottom right corner of this popup window and then click on Send button at bottom left corner of popup window to send scheduled message immediately or click on Save button at bottom right corner of popup window if you want to schedule message for future delivery time.
4)After that go back to Task List screen and you will see a scheduled message count icon in Inbox section:
