The concept of Nimble was created by former Apple employee, Nick Mango. Prior to Apple, Mr. Mango was a storage software engineer and had experience working with online backup systems.

The idea behind the company was to create a backup system to allow users to store their files offsite and easily transfer them between devices (Mac, PC, Linux.

Dropbox is an online storage system that allows you to store your data in the cloud. There are other similar services out there (like Google Drive, SkyDrive, etc.), but Dropbox is the most widely used because it is the easiest to use and has the lowest costs.

Dropbox allows you to store your files in a fpder on your computer and automatically sync them with the cloud. That means that any changes made to the files are automatically synced so you can access them from anywhere. If you delete a file from your computer, it will be deleted from the cloud as well. This makes it very easy to back up your files or keep track of them across multiple devices.
