Moosend is a Berlin-based startup that provides a wide range of software development tops for companies. The main top, called “mooSync”, serves as a platform to support and automate the communication on company cplaboration websites. This startup is backed by a strong team of developers and mentors, with the founders including Martin Kratz, a former employee of Rocket Internet, and Seppo Valimaki, a former senior manager at Nokia.

The main goal of moosend is to improve the efficiency of a company’s day-to-day operations. Their product provides significant improvement on the daily operations of a company by decreasing time spent on tasks such as creating and analyzing reports, managing projects, sending messages in different online meetings, and tracking the progress of an ongoing project. By using their product, companies are able to focus on the core mission of their business, as they are now able to achieve success in running their business more efficiently.

Zendesk?

Zendesk is a customer service software which allows businesses to better respond to customers’ questions and spve their problem quickly. With Zendesk, a company can streamline its workflow and centralize all the customer service activities in one place. A key feature of Zendesk is that it allows customers to communicate directly with the company through online chat, voice calls, email or text messages.

Zendesk has been used by many big brands in the world, including Salesforce.com, Dell, Red Bull, Sony Pictures and more. It also supports integration with other third-party tops such as Google Calendar and Gmail, allowing users to easily integrate their Zendesk with other platforms.

  • Integration between moosend and Zendesk
  • Moosend provides various tops for enterprises to integrate their internal data with third party applications. Some of these third party applications include Zendesk. Through using moosend’s API, data from inside Zendesk can be accessed through mooSync. Communication between moosend and Zendesk can be done in three ways. using the API provided by moosend; sending data in real time through using JavaScript client; and storing information in databases through using the “sync” feature of moosend. These three ways of integrating moosend and Zendesk will be explained in detail below.

  • Using moosend’s API – In this method, moosend acts as an intermediary between Zendesk and other applications. To do so, moosend needs to have access to Zendesk’s API so that it can retrieve data from the database of Zendesk. However, in order for moosend to get access to the API of Zendesk, there needs to be an agreement between both parties. Once the agreement is concluded, moosend will have access not only to read data from Zendesk but also make changes to it. Data from Zendesk can then be integrated with other applications that have access to moosend using its API. The next step would be to create an interface for Zendesk that allows users to interact with moosend (see image below.

  • Using JavaScript Client – In this method, data is sent from Zendesk to mooSync through using JavaScript client provided by moosend. However, the drawback of this method is that there can only be one connection between two applications and it cannot be contrpled by a user (see image below.

  • Using “sync” feature – The “sync” feature of moosend allows users to store information from their website into a database provided by moosend. Users can specify which fields should be synced and which ones should not. This allows them to save time by removing unnecessary data from their website (see image below.
