Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet software developed by Microsoft. It was first released in 1985 for the Macintosh computer and later on, it was released for Microsoft Windows in 1987. It is currently available in three different versions; Excel for Windows, Excel Mobile for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, and Excel Online which operates online and in the cloud.

The integration of moosend and Microsoft Excel will help you save time when you are working with your shipments or invoices. It also makes it easier for you to use the two together since you will only need to install one add-in. The integration is easy and fast, all you need to do to start using moosend in your Microsoft Excel spreadsheets is to fplow these steps:

  • Open moosend.com in a browser tab or window. Go to their homepage (https://www.moosend.com/)
  • Click on the “Get Started” button in the top right corner.
  • Click on the option “Microsoft Office Add-in”
  • Then choose the version of Microsoft Office you’re using (in this example we’ll use Microsoft Office 2016.
  • Choose your language
  • Click on “Download” button to download the add-in for your version of Microsoft Office.
  • When the add-in has been downloaded, open your Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and go to File > Options > AddIns > Manage Excel Add-ins > Browse and find your downloaded add-in file.
  • Once the add-in has been installed, close and reopen your Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
  • Now a new button named “moosend” should appear at the top menu bar of your spreadsheet. Click on it to access the moosend menu and add a package or shipment from moosend to your spreadsheet. Then click on “Next” and choose what kind of shipment you want to create (you can choose between standard packages or fragile ones. Then check the details of your package/shipment (the dimensions, weight etc.. and click on “Create Shipment” to start tracking it on moosend. You can then choose if you want to save the shipment as a template (for future use. or if you want to send it directly to a courier company immediately. If you don’t want to send it to a courier company directly, just click “Save” in order to save the shipment as a template or click on “Close” if you want to send it directly to a courier company. There are many courier companies that support moosend integration, including DHL Express, Hermes Logistics, UPS, TNT Express, etc.
