Integration of moosend and Cloud Firestore

moosend?

Mooseend is a project that enables the communication between your app and cloud service providers. Through this top, you can easily enable real-time updates in your mobile app when a change occurs in a cloud service provider. It will automatically sync data from Firebase Realtime Database to your app. This top also includes a REST API for building a serverless backend for your app. It also supports the development of mobile apps with React Native, Ionic, Cordova, and React.js, as well as all web browsers.

Cloud Firestore?

Cloud Firestore is Google’s next generation database. It is an object database that can be used either client-side or server-side. It stores the data in NoSQL form, which allows the user to define the schema of the data they need to store. It has two different modes of operation. offline and online. It is designed to store data efficiently and minimize the access latency that might come with it.

Integration of moosend and Cloud Firestore

To integrate these two services, you must first create an account on moosend. You will also have to create a new application on moosend and link it with your Firebase account. After doing this, you can now start using moosend to sync data from any of your cloud databases and use it in your mobile app. The integration process is very simple and easy to fplow. You just have to fplow some simple steps. Here are the steps you need to do:

  • Create an account on moosend and link it up with Firebase.

  • Go back to moosend and create a new project by clicking on the “New Project” button on the top right corner of your screen.

  • On the new project page, you will need to enter some information about your application (the name to be displayed on moosend, the name of your mobile app, the platform, and the profile image. You can then choose to integrate one or several cloud services such as Firebase Realtime Database, Google Analytics, Parse, Facebook, Twitter, etc. After choosing the cloud services you want to integrate into your mobile app, click on “Save Changes” at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • You will then see a screen containing some instructions for integrating your application with Firebase and other cloud services. These instructions will contain the unique identifier of your project and the required credentials needed for integration with Firebase. When you have copied everything down into a text file, click on “Save Changes” at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • After clicking on “Save Changes”, you will then be redirected to an empty project page where you will be asked to connect your application with Firebase and other cloud services. For example, if you chose to integrate Firebase, then you may be prompted by a pop-up message asking if your application already uses Firebase Realtime Database or not. Choose “Yes” if it does already use Firebase Realtime Database. If it does not use Firebase Realtime Database yet, then choose “No” and proceed further. You will then be prompted to enter your Firebase credentials so that moosend can sync data with it.

  • You will then be redirected to a screen where you can choose which firebase products you want to use in your app. Click on “Firebase Realtime Database” if you want to sync data with Firebase Realtime Database. Click on “Save Changes” at the bottom right corner of your screen when done.

  • You will then see another pop-up message asking if you want moosend to handle the authentication of your users or if you want to manage it on your own server. Choose “Yes” if you want moosend to handle it for you; otherwise choose “No” if you want to manage it yourself. Then click on “Save Changes” at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • Now go back to your project page where all your cloud services are listed and click on the settings icon next to each of them individually. You will then be taken to a page where you can set some additional options for each of these cloud services and how they should be synced with moosend. For example, for Firebase Realtime Database, you can choose what kind of data (raw data or JSON data. should be synced with moosend based from the radio buttons provided on that page. You can also choose what types of changes should trigger syncs (such as adding a new record or when a record is updated. You should also set the frequency for syncing data and choosing the time intervals for updating data (every 5 minutes. When done setting all these options, click on “Save Changes” at the bottom right corner of your screen after each individual page has been changed accordingly by you.

  • You can now start developing code for your mobile app! When writing code for your mobile app, make sure that there are some identifiers that are defined in your firebase project inside all of your code files (such as firebaseConfig = { /* … / }. These identifiers will be used by moosend when syncing data with Firebase Realtime Database. If there are no such identifiers inside the code files for your mobile app, then make sure that there are some identifiers in your firebase project that are named exactly like those in code files inside moosend (such as firebaseConfig = { /*/ }. If both of these conditions are satisfied then moosend will be able to sync data with Firebase Realtime Database properly! If not then moosend might not be able to sync data properly with Firebase Realtime Database! Therefore, make sure that these two conditions are satisfied before uploading any code for your app to its production server!
