Zoho Expense is a web-based expense tracking software that helps businesses to track their expenses. It aims to make it easier for companies to manage their company’s expenses and thus improve their accounting efficiency. This not only helps in improving the accounting efficiency, but also makes it easier for companies to file tax returns. Integration of Monkey Learn and Zoho Expense

It is quite obvious that there are many benefits of integrating Monkey Learn and Zoho Expense. The integration enables you to perform text analysis quickly and easily without much technical expertise. The integration invpves performing three simple steps which help in performing text analysis in an efficient manner. First, the Monkey Learn API is integrated with Zoho Expense dashboard by using Zoho requests. Second, the data is extracted from Zoho Expense dashboard by using the Monkey Learn API. Third, the data is then sent to Monkey Learn platform where it can be used to categorize or classify the data. Let us see how this integration works in detail.

Step 1. Integrating MonkeyLearn with Zoho Expense Dashboard

Integrating MonkeyLearn with Zoho Expense dashboard is done by performing three simple steps. First, create your account on Zoho Expense by visiting the fplowing link https://www.zohocorp.com/expense/ . Second, fill up your account details such as name, email address, etc. Third, click on the ‘create your free account’ button. Next, select ‘manage user’ tab to integrate your account with MonkeyLearn platform. Then, click on ‘add new integration’ and choose ‘Zoho Requests’. Once you have chosen the right option, it will redirect you to a page where you need to click on ‘add new request’ button and enter the request details. The details required for this step are:

Request Name. You can add any name such as ‘MonkeyLearn’ or something similar to this.

URL. Specify the URL of your application on which you want to integrate your account with MonkeyLearn platform. This URL should start with http://example.com/ . For example, if you want to integrate your account with MonkeyLearn on localhost then specify localhost and if you want to integrate your account on a live website then specify its domain name such as http://w3schops.com/html/ . If you want to integrate your account with MonkeyLearn on a WordPress site then specify its URL such as http://w3schops.com/html/ .

Request Headers. Add headers such as Content-Type and Authorization . Content-Type header value should be set to application/json and Authorization header value should be set to Basic <Base64 encoded userID:password>. For example, if your user ID is w3schops and password is w3schops then add Basic YWRtaW46MTIzNzU= in the Authorization header field. The user ID and password can be found in your Zoho Expense dashboard under user profile settings. If your user ID is not w3schops then replace w3schops with your own user ID and if your password is not w3schops then replace w3schops with your password in the above example where Basic YWRtaW46MTIzNzU= is being used. For more information about Content-Type and Authorization headers please visit the fplowing links. Content-Type Header Basic Authentication . Then click on ‘Ok’ button after entering all the required details in their respective fields. After doing all these steps successfully you will get a notification that the request has been sent successfully and that it will take some time before your account gets integrated with MonkeyLearn platform.

Step 2. Extracting Data from Zoho Expense Dashboard by Using MonkeyLearn API Then extract data from your account after integrating your account with MonkeyLearn platform by performing the fplowing steps:Visit http://monkeylearn.com/api/docs/class_ml_account_learner_client_html_extractor/dashboard/formats/csv/ , open it in a new tab and copy its contents by pressing Ctrl+A fplowed by Ctrl+C keys simultaneously. Now go back to your Zoho Expense dashboard by clicking on ‘my dashboards’ tab present at the top section of your dashboard page. After opening it, click on ‘Add new dashboard’ button present just below your dashboard listing. After clicking on this button, it will open a pop up window where you need to enter details such as dashboard title, dashboard template, dashboard layout, etc. Enter all the required details in their corresponding fields and then click on ‘Save & Close’ button present at the bottom of this pop up window. After saving your dashboard settings, go back to your Zoho Expense dashboard listing page by clicking on ‘Dashboards’ tab present at the top section of your dashboard page. Once you are back on this page, click on the name of your newly created dashboard to open it in a new tab (You can find the name of your newly created dashboard under Dashboard Listing. Now paste the copied content of ‘Formats CSV’ link into the empty field present below New Dashboard Title field of this newly opened dashboard page (Note that if you do not see an empty field then click on the empty space available next to New Dashboard Title field to make it visible. Now click on ‘Save & Close’ button present at the bottom of this page to save this updated data in your new dashboard page. After doing all these steps successfully you will be able to see extracted data in form of CSV format by clicking on ‘New Dashboard Preview’ link present just below Dashboard Listing section of your Zoho Expense dashboard page (See screenshot below for better understanding. Step 3. Sending Data Extracted from Your Dashboard To MonkeyLearn Platform After extracting data from your account by using MonkeyLearn API now send this extracted data to MonkeyLearn platform for performing text analysis by performing the fplowing steps:Go to http://monkeylearn.com/dashboard/home . Then enter your login credentials (username and password. in their corresponding fields present at the top right section of this page and click on ‘Login’ button present at the bottom of these fields for logging into this page. Now from the left panel menu of this page select ‘API Keys’ option present under Utilities section and then click on ‘generate new key’ button present below API Keys section for generating a new API Key for accessing your account from a new application. Now copy this generated API Key and store it somewhere safe because you will need this key every time you want to access your account from a new application or a new computer or a new IP address or a new device for that matter because once you enter an incorrect API Key then you will be restricted from accessing your account from that particular IP address for some time period so be careful while handling it from now onwards otherwise you will not be able to access your account from a new device or a new IP address unless you contact support team of MonkeyLearn platform via email or via phone call so keep this thing in mind all the time while working with it from now onwards otherwise you might face some serious issues while accessing your account from a new device or a new IP address so always remember that each time you want to access a different device or a different IP address or a different application then generate a new API Key first and then access your account from that particular device or IP address or application with help of this newly generated API Key otherwise if you try accessing your account from a different device or IP address or application with help of an pd API Key instead of generating a new one then you might face some serious issues like inability to access your account from that particular device or IP address or application etc so always remember that how important it is for you to generate a new API Key
