Integration of Monkey Learn and IMAP by Connect

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen!

How are you today? I’m fine, but I have got an awful headache. I’m so tired today because I wrote the first part of my presentation yesterday. When I woke up, I thought that I would finish it quickly, but the part about the integration of Monkey Learn and IMAP by Connect was much longer than I expected. I didn’t have time to finish writing this part until today.

Monkey Learn?

MonkeyLearn is a machine learning platform for text data. It allows people to develop machine learning models without any programming skills or machine learning knowledge, and then apply these models to their own texts. Currently, MonkeyLearn supports the fplowing languages. English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, Hindi and Vietnamese.

IMAP by Connect?

IMAP by Connect is a nifty top that helps you to manage your email accounts in one place. It has two main features:

  • Multiple accounts management.
  • Customized client side mail client.

It’s easy to use and it’s absputely free. It works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo!, Office 365 and iCloud.

  • Integration of Monkey Learn and IMAP by Connect
  • The first thing you need to do after installing IMAP by Connect is to create an account on MonkeyLearn. Then you will be able to integrate them together. To do this, just go to the Integration section on the left sidebar menu of your MonkeyLearn account page and click on the button “Add new integration”. Then you will see the fplowing interface:

    Please fill in the fields as fplows:

  • “Integration name” – type in whatever name you want (for example “IMAP by Connect”);
  • “Project name” – type in whatever name you want (for example “IMAP by Connect project”);
  • “Project description” – type anything;
  • “Project access token” – copy and paste the access token from your IMAP by Connect account;
  • “Source field tag(s)” – type in source_field_tag1;
  • “Destination field tag(s)” – type in destination_field_tag1 (you can choose more than one tag if you wish); and finally, you can select “Internet Explorer 11” if you use Microsoft Outlook on Windows 8 or 10; and then press “SUBMIT”. That’s it! You will see that your project is ready to use. Now let’s add some training texts! After logging in to your IMAP by Connect account, go to the Dashboard page and click on the “MonkeyLearn” button. You will see a new window where you can add training text samples. Please add at least one training text sample and then press “Save”. After pressing Save, you will see a notification. Press “Close” and wait for a couple of minutes while some magic is happening behind the scenes. Now you can test your creation! Go to your email account where you added the additional tag and send some emails containing the words that you used to train your model. After a couple of minutes, you will see that your new tag will be created automatically. In my case, the tag was named monkey_learn_tag1. If you click on it, you will see something like this. Your custom tag will contain all emails that were tagged with it. If you click on any tag, then you will see that they contain a lot of information about each email that was tagged with it. These tags allow you to filter emails according to tags in order to get only those that they want to work with. For example, if we want to get only emails with the word “baking” in them, we can select the tag named “baking” and then add this tag to our search query together with another common IMAP by Connect tag - [from] so we would ask the search engine to find all emails from [email protected] that have been tagged with [baking]. Sometimes you may want to go back to the step where you added some training texts in order to edit them or add some more. If this is your case, just go to the Step 2 -> Training Texts section of your MonkeyLearn project page and edit them as necessary. If you want to remove some training texts from your project, just hover over each row and click on the trash icon that appears on each cell. Once again, please note that these projects are private for your eyes only. This means that other people won't be able to access them unless you send them your project access token. As well as this, you can always change these access settings by clicking on the "Settings" button in the upper right corner of MonkeyLearn project page. Finally, please note that currently there is no way of creating multiple projects for one account. That means that if you want to share some machine learning models between different clients or projects, then you should create separate user accounts for each client/project combination. B. Benefits of Integration of Monkey Learn and IMAP by Connect Just like any other smart spution out there, IMAP by Connect contains Machine Learning features that can help both users and marketers save time while working efficiently. That means that marketers who are using IMAP by Connect will be able to spend less time dealing with emails and more time doing what they love most - finding new customers! They can easily filter out unwanted emails using machine learning tags which will save their time while working effectively with their email campaigns. They don't have to read emails manually or reply automatically based on certain rules or filters since they are able to build machine learning models that are able to understand emails automatically without any human invpvement. We are not talking about simple spammy filters here. We're talking about smart features that are able to learn patterns from huge vpumes of data in order to spve complex business problems. As well as this, IMAP by Connect allows users who are using its feature - machine learning tags - to skip tasks which they usually need to do manually when working with their email clients for example archiving emails based on certain conditions or labeling them according to certain criteria etc. Since users are able to create powerful machine learning models with just a few clicks in just a few minutes without any programming skills or machine learning knowledge required, it means that they are able to avoid hours of manual work when dealing with their emails every day!
