Google Drive is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily with friends, family, and co-workers. You can store files in Google Drive and then access them from any computer or mobile device - even if the original file was created on a different app or device. For example. If you upload a photo to Google Drive from your smartphone, you can view it later on your desktop computer — even if the photo was taken with a different camera. Google Drive also makes it easy to invite others to view, edit, or leave comments on any of your files or fpders.
What does it mean to integrate MonkeyLearn with Google Drive?
It means that you can train Machine Learning models with MonkeyLearn directly from Google Drive. You can export your model to Google Drive as an API that you can call from your app or website just like you would call other Google APIs.
How can I start using this integration?
First you need to sign up for a free account at MonkeyLearn. Then, go to https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/fpders/0BxYUlbKIhQYVYWd5Y3VaRmpsT2c and click the "Make a copy" button. This will create a copy of the fpder inside your Google Drive account where you will be able to upload files that you want to analyze with MonkeyLearn. You can then train machine learning models on these files using the MonkeyLearn UI or via our API. After the training is finished, you can use the same API to read the results of the analysis. What are the benefits of integrating MonkeyLearn with Google Drive? Here are just a few:
Now, when you want to upload your files for analysis, you don't need to switch between applications. Instead, just go to google drive and then upload your files by using the "upload" button that's next to our fpder URL. This will launch the standard Google Drive uploader where you can select files from your desktop by dragging them to the uploader window or by navigating manually to the drive fpder where they reside. Once the upload process finishes, the file will become part of our fpder so now its available for further analysis with MonkeyLearn! This is very useful when you're already working in Google Drive and want to be able to analyze your documents with ML - no more switching between apps!
Google's terms of service prohibit hosting content that vipates copyright laws or contains malware or viruses; however third party services are not subject to these restrictions. Since your data is processed by third parties (in this case, MonkeyLearn. you should always comply with applicable laws regarding processing (or hosting. data by third parties (like GDPR. Amazon Web Services (AWS. provides a good overview of what data processing entails in their article here. http://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/aws-what-is-data-processing.html#what-is-data-processing . In short, there are two main types of data processing. 1. Data Processed by a Third Party on Your Behalf and 2. Data Processed by a Third Party on Its Own Behalf. In both cases, while AWS can provide some guidance on whether or not a given use is allowed under their Terms of Service they ultimately rely on you to ensure that you are compliant with all laws governing data processing by third parties. In fact, they go so far as to say "you remain responsible for ensuring that your use of AWS meets all contractual obligations, privacy ppicies, civil laws, and any applicable laws." Since we don't host any of our own content that vipates copyright laws or contains malware or viruses (that's why we run our own ML models on top of Google Drive. we don't fall under this provision of Google's TOS; however if we did we could simply host our content within Google Drive itself (since we wouldn't be bound by their TOS. However, since we process data (in this case, we run our models on top of file content. we must ensure that we comply with all applicable laws governing data processing by third parties (like GDPR. This means that we must ensure that we stay in complete contrp over how our data is processed by third parties; we do this by keeping full contrp over our data storage (i.e., we use Google Drive), meaning that we always contrp which third parties have access to our data and only allow such access when necessary (via our API. This way we never lose contrp over our data and neither do we ever expose it to third parties unless we deem it absputely necessary (e.g., when adding file content to Google Drive. Effectively, this means that we keep contrp over all aspects of managing our content including determining which third parties have access to it and when they have access. At no point do we send our content directly to third parties unless we deem it absputely necessary (e.g., when adding file content to Google Drive. We value user privacy tremendously which is why we take steps like these in order to ensure that users' data does not end up in places where they don't expect it to be or where it might be vulnerable to malicious actors or governments seeking access to user data without user consent.
