The idea of combining Zoho People and MongoDB came up when I was looking for ways to improve our business processes. The integration would make it possible to have a more accurate view of our employees. By integrating these two platforms together, we are able to have a centralized view of all of our employees and their respective information. Employees can then be added or removed from groups faster and easier. As a result, we are able to remove redundancies by removing duplicate entries. This resource is also useful to find out the various rpes an employee plays in the company. For example, you can identify who your sales managers are and what teams they are on. This is helpful when you are trying to determine if any sales managers are lagging behind in their performance. The integration would also help us with our HR practices because we would be able to have real time information about our employees. With this information, we can do more effective planning with our resources. An example of this would be to know how many employees will be affected by a layoff or not having enough time to complete a project. We would be able to plan which employees need additional training or redistribute the workload among other existing employees.
In conclusion, through the integration of MongoDB and Zoho People, we were able to bring more efficiency to our day to day business operations. Since there is no need for us to manually update our employee records between the two platforms, we are able to save money and time as well as get better results.
