To finish your outline, highlight each section and give it a number. This will help you with the next step.

Step 2. Organize your outline into topics

If you have fplowed the outline above, you should have a list of bullet points for your body sections. Now go through each point and rephrase them into complete sentences. Highlight each sentence and make note of which part of the outline it corresponds to. If they don’t match perfectly, just make note of where it goes in the outline. To do this, simply add additional topics to the outline after the first topic. Make sure that you leave enough space between each one so that it is not too confusing.

Step 4. Create a new document to start writing in

Now that you have your outline in place, it’s time to start writing! Create a new document in Google Docs and copy/paste all of your topics from the outline into the new document. Then fill in each topic with details about what you want to say. Alternatively, you can just start writing without creating an outline first. It’s up to you!
