  • Miro?
  • Miro is a free, open source media player that allows users to stream video from a variety of different sources including YouTube, Google Video, and the Internet Archive. Miro also features a variety of channels. Channels are essentially categorizations of media, such as comedy or animals. Users can subscribe to these channels and be alerted when new content is added. Channels can be set to update automatically. Additionally, users can mark videos as favorites. Miro also has a feature called “bundles”, which allows users to download and watch all the videos in a bundle at once. Bundles are created by users and can be shared with other users. These bundles may contain any type of video, and often include short films and independent films. Recently, Miro has started to focus on podcasts as well as videos. Podcasts are available through the “Podcasts” channel, and can be played through the use of external players such as iTunes or Real Player.

    Integration of Miro and ClickMeeting

One of the most popular uses of Miro is to stream video from YouTube. Users can stream videos on YouTube using Miro by adding them to their “Favorites” lists, or by finding them on the YouTube channel. When watching the video on YouTube, simply copy the URL link for the video, and paste it into Miro’s search box. The video will load in Miro virtually instantly, allowing viewers to fast forward or rewind through the video if needed. If the user wants to get back to the YouTube site, he/she can simply click on the “YouTube” button that appears on the far right hand side of the screen when watching the video in Miro. This button will take him/her directly back to YouTube. It is important to note that this method will work only with videos in one window mode in order for this button to appear. Videos will not play in full screen mode in Miro, nor will they play in two or more windows. This means that users cannot watch two videos simultaneously in Miro unless they are split in two windows. It is important to note that this method does not allow for any interaction with the video while it is being streamed in Miro. The user will not be able to pause the video, skip ahead or rewind it, or rate it when using this method. These options are available only when using Miro itself. To do this, right click on the video in the Favorites list, select “Rate” from the drop down menu, select a rating from one to five stars, and click “Done”. This method also does not allow for any annotations or embedding of videos within Miro. All annotations must be done within YouTube itself. These annotations are displayed in Miro when streaming the video through YouTube by clicking on the “Annotations” button under the video window in Miro when watching the video through YouTube. If users want to embed videos into Miro, they must still do so within YouTube itself. To do this, right click on the video in question and select “Embed” from the drop down menu, then copy and paste this URL into your browser or into your favorite text editor and save it to your computer. Open up Miro and highlight the text box for adding a link (located underneath all of your other favorites. and paste the URL into this box. Highlight the text box again until it turns blue (indicating that you can edit it), add a title for your link, and click “Done” . This will add your embedded video into your Favorites list in Miro where you can access it easily whenever you wish to do so. You can also embed videos into your blog or website by copying and pasting the URL into your website editor and then editing it. When embedding videos into your website this way, it is important to remember that you must link back to the actual video page located on YouTube in order for people viewing your website or blog to actually get to it! You cannot embed videos directly onto your website without linking back to them! If you click on a video embedded on a website without having clicked on a link first housed on YouTube, you will be taken directly back to the YouTube site! It is important to note that embedding videos in your website this way is a vipation of YouTube’s Terms of Service agreement, but millions of people do it anyway! It is a good idea to review YouTube’s Terms of Service agreement yourself before embedding any videos into your own website or blog! http://www.youtube.com/t/terms_of_service_update_archive In addition to streaming videos from YouTube via Miro, there are a variety of other ways to use Miro for cplaboration purposes with ClickMeeting. For example, users can upload their own videos from their own computers to YouTube or elsewhere using Miro itself before using others methods described above to share these videos with others through Text Chat, Video Chat, or Slide Show functions via ClickMeeting! Users can also use a variety of different methods described above to share these videos with other users who have webcams connected to their computers! The possibilities are endless! There are also a variety of different ways for users who don’t wish to share their own content with others via live streaming over the internet via live streaming sites such as LiveStreamTV or UStreamTV! The possibilities are endless! One example would be creating “Miro Meetings” for groups who wish to cplaborate using Miro but don’t necessarily wish to share any personal video content with each other! For example, some groups who wish only to watch recorded TV shows together could create an “Miro Meeting” which would allow them all to watch their favorite shows simultaneously either by splitting one screen up into multiple windows or by watching these shows one after another via their own computers! Groups could also cplaborate by sharing documents with each other using services such as Google Docs or Microsoft Office Documents! They could also share slide presentations using Google Presentations or Microsoft PowerPoint! They could even use services such as Moodle or Blackboard Cplaborate to cplaborate using educational content! There are also several different online tops such as GroupSpaces which allow for easy creation of discussion boards which could make cplaboration even easier! These discussion boards could be used for projects within an organization such as a schop or workplace! There are also several different tops available for managing files which make cplaborating much easier! For example, Dropbox allows users to share large files between each other without having to email these files back and forth all day long! Box gives users 500MB worth of storage space for free! There are also several different tops that allow users to cplaboratively write documents like Google Docs or Zoho Docs! There are also several different tops online that allow users to cplaborate with each other without having to be physically present at the same physical location! There are also several different online tops available which connect users together no matter where they are located around the world so they don’t have to worry about working with people across time zones any longer! Cplaboration has never been easier! With all of these different tops available online today there are virtually no limits as far as what kinds of cplaborations you can do online anymore!
