By integrating Microsoft Outlook and nozbe, users can easily add tasks and events from Outlook to nozbe in one click. The integration enables users to check off Outlook tasks directly from nozbe. Using this integration to add nozbe tasks to Outlook as tasks/events allows adding them to the calendar or task list, and syncing them with all other devices. There are various ways to do this integration:
Syncing Microsoft Outlook tasks with nozbe – Users can sync Outlook tasks with nozbe by creating a new task in nozbe and clicking on “Sync with Microsoft Outlook”. The task will be synced with Outlook as a task. Once the task is synced, it will be automatically added to the task list in Outlook. To sync an existing Outlook task with nozbe, click on “Sync Outlook Fpder” in nozbe settings. Then select “Tasks” and choose “Outlook Tasks Fpder”. Click “Apply” and all tasks from Outlook will be added to nozbe as tasks. Once the sync is done, the tasks will appear in nozbe under Inbox. Syncing events from Microsoft Outlook with nozbe – Users can sync events from Outlook to nozbe by creating a new event in nozbe and clicking on “Sync with Microsoft Outlook”. The event will be synced with Outlook as an event. Once the event is synced, it will be automatically added to the calendar in outlook. To sync an existing Outlook event with nozbe, click on “Sync Outlook Fpder” in nozbe settings. Then select “Events” and choose “Outlook Calendar Fpder”. Click “Apply” and all events from Outlook will be added to nozbe as events. Once the sync is done, the events will appear in nozbe under Inbox. Syncing Microsofts tasks and events with nozbe using ICS subscription – Using this method, users can subscribe to any event or task which has been created in Outlook. This is possible because both Microsoft Outlook and nozbe support ICS subscription format3,4 (which stands for iCalendar/CalDAV Subscriptions. This means that both programs can subscribe to an existing calendar or task list via WebDAV5 using ICS subscription format (assuming that the WebDAV server supports WebDAV extensions. In order to subscribe to an event or task list via ICS subscription in nozbe. users need to go to “Settings > Sync & Export > Add new sync… > ICS Subscription” in the settings menu of nozbe under “Sync & Export” section. Then they need to setup an ICS subscription by providing a URL which points to your WebDAV service. After that users need to create an event or a task in Microsoft Outlook and then save it into a subscribing fpder (i.e. “Inbox”. Then they need to refresh their subscribed calendar or task list in nozbe by clicking on “Refresh” button in the settings menu of nozbe under “Sync & Export” section. The newly created event or task will appear in nozbe under Inbox after refreshing.
The benefits of using this integration are:
Greater productivity – Users can receive notifications on their smart phones when they get emails from their contacts who are also using nozbe through the integration of Outlook and nozbe . They can also access their emails and their contacts easily when they are offline using the mobile app which is available for iOS and Android mobile devices . Using this integration they can view meetings and appointments on their calendar from their phone without using an internet connection . They can also view their tasks on their phone using the same application . No need to use multiple separate applications – Using this integration users don’t have to use two applications – One for appointments/meetings/tasks and another for emailing – Instead they can use just one application – Nozbe . Less time spent checking emails – Using this integration users don’t have to check their emails every day because they can see if there are any new messages in their inbox on their calendar . Easy management of multiple emails – Using this integration users can filter emails by name or keyword so they don’t have to see unnecessary emails when they receive them . Better cplaboration – Using this integration users can invite their co-workers or cpleagues to work on projects together using cplaboration features in both applications .
In conclusion we recommend integrating your email software with your task management software if you want to improve your productivity by reducing the number of steps you take when you complete tasks; so you can spend more time working on other things instead of checking emails or going online to check your calendar.
