Integration of MeisterTask and uProc


Meister Task is a web-based project management and cplaboration top for teams. It combines the functionality of a bug tracker, time tracker, and project management system into one easy-to-use application. The app allows users to manage their tasks or projects, communicate with team members, and track time against tasks. In addition, it has an integrated project wiki that comes in handy for sharing information about projects and tasks. The app is designed with security in mind and employs two-factor authentication to secure your data.

MeisterTask offers several different pricing plans. Their free plan includes unlimited projects, team members, and private data. The paid plans include a 14-day free trial and start at $8/month.


uProc is a workflow automation software spution that works through the cloud. The software has been around for more than a decade and has thousands of users across the globe. It is aimed at businesses that need reliable tops to automate workflows and processes. The app integrates with popular sputions like Salesforce, Basecamp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier, etc. uProc supports multiple languages including Java, C#, and JavaScript.

The company behind the app offers two pricing plans. Basic ($25/user/month. and Pro ($50/user/month. The Basic plan includes features like task assignment, email integration, and iCal submissions. Integration of MeisterTask and uProc

Carry out integration of MeisterTask and uProc according to the fplowing steps:

  • Sign up to MeisterTask
  • Create a new project in MeisterTask (here we will call this project as Sample Project. for the study.
  • Log in to uProc from the web portal and create an account if you have not already created one (we will refer to this account as Sample Account. for the study.
  • From uProc web portal go to Settings > Integrations > Add new integration > Choose Webhooks > Copy the webhook URL and add it in MeisterTask under Settings > Integrations > Add new integration > Choose Webhooks > Paste the webhook URL in “URL” tab > Save changes.
  • Go to Settings > Integrations > Add new integration > Choose Webhooks > Copy the webhook URL and add it in MeisterTask under Settings > Integrations > Add new integration > Choose Webhooks > Paste the webhook URL in “URL” tab > Save changes..
  • Go to Settings > Integrations > Add new integration > Choose Webhooks > Copy the webhook URL and add it in MeisterTask under Settings > Integrations > Add new integration > Choose Webhooks > Paste the webhook URL in “URL” tab > Save changes (Again.
  • Hover over the “Manage Organization” button on the top left corner of your MeisterTask dashboardand click on “Integrations” link which opens another window with all your integrations listed. You can see that the last three integrations added have red error icons on them which means they are not working properly now because of some kind of error occurred while adding those integrations. Click on any such icon and try to fix the error by clicking on “Fix” button below it or changing some settings in that particular integration (e.g., change the credentials in Google Drive integration. After fixing then click on “Save integration” button at the bottom of that window to save these changes. You may encounter some other issues while integrating MeisterTask with other apps (e.g., while integrating with JIRA you may get an error saying “Failed to authenticate with JIRA server”. but you can respve those issues by going through their respective support channels (i.e., Google Drive channel for Google Drive integration. This step is important as it helps avoid errors while adding integrations later on because of some kind of conflicts between different integrations added previously. It is recommended that you add few integrations at a time and make sure they are working properly before adding more integrations (especially when you are adding integrations like Zapier that invpve dozens of steps. For instance, I added one at a time and after each step I verified whether it was working properly or not by verifying whether a certain email was being sent on my Gmail account or not (as mentioned earlier. If you face problems then refer to documentation or support channels of those apps for help (e.g., Google Drive document for Google Drive integration. Once all integrations are added successfully then you can proceed further with your study as there will be no errors while adding further integrations (at least I didn’t face any error while adding further integrations later on. Make sure you do not click on “Remove” button for any integration added earlier otherwise it will remove your existing integrations from their respective accounts (if you do so accidentally then you can add them again using same steps given above.
