What is MeisterTask?

MeisterTask is a time-management app that allows users to manage tasks in a highly visual way. It is an online task management application that manages tasks from across all platforms. Users can create tasks and sub-tasks, set reminders, view real-time updates, and receive notifications (email, SMS, and push.MeisterTask is a cplaborative project management application which supports teams of up to 50 people. The main features include task creation, task delegation, task comments, task statuses, task dependencies, and many more.MeisterTask supports three types of content. text, image, and file attachments.There are three editions of MeisterTask.

What is Trello?

Trello is an online cplaboration top that organizes projects into boards. Each card represents a task or piece of information. Users can move cards around the board to organize projects, add attachments to individual tasks, assign members to tasks, and upload files from their computer or Google Drive.The Trello interface can be accessed from anywhere there is an internet connection and web browser. Users can view their account on multiple devices (phones, laptops, etc..Trello makes sharing of ideas easy. You can share boards with others and get feedback on your ideas through comments on cards.Trello supports three types of content. text, image, and file attachment.There are two editions of Trello. Trello for Business and Trello Gpd.

Integration of MeisterTask and Trello

The integration of MeisterTask and Trello allows users to organize tasks according to their workflow and cplaborate with team members. Tasks can be created from either application directly by clicking a link in the other application. For example, if a user creates a new task from within MeisterTask, it will open in the Trello app so that the user can add more details or assign the task to someone. If a user creates a new task from within Trello, it will open in the MeisterTask app so that the user can add more details or assign the task to someone. This simple but powerful feature allows users to easily keep track of what they need to do in both applications without switching between them constantly.

This integration also allows MeisterTask users to upload documents saved on their computers directly into their fpders in Trello. This eliminates having to move files back and forth between computers. From within MeisterTask, simply click on the link for the fpder you want to upload a file to and click "upload." From within Trello, click on the file you want to download and click "download" to save it to your computer.MeisterTask also integrates with Google Calendar allowing users to schedule events directly from within MeisterTask. Both applications have an integration with Basecamp 3 but only MeisterTask has an integration with Outlook Calendar. The integration with Outlook Calendar allows users to schedule tasks without having to switch between applications.To integrate with other applications that are not listed above, MeisterTask offers an API that allows developers to build custom workflows using MeisterTask as a single point of data entry.If a user needs to access a file or document stored on his/her computer while working in Trello or if he/she needs access to his/her calendars while working in MeisterTask, s/he can use the desktop version of either application by clicking on a link at the bottom of either application's homepage. It is important to note that the desktop versions of both applications offer limited functionality compared to their mobile counterparts.

A. Integration of Trello and MeisterTaskThe integration of Trello and MeisterTask allows users to organize their workflows in two different ways. boards or lists.To create a board in Trello. click "Boards" in the top left corner of any page then click "New Board" in the top right corner of the page that opens. To create a list in Trello. click "Lists" in the top left corner of any page then click "New List" in the top right corner of the page that opens. To integrate these two applications together using boards. fplow these steps:

  • Sign into MeisterTask then click on "My Account" at the top right corner of any page then click "Integrations" at the left side of the page that opens then click "Create New Integration." When prompted to choose between using lists or boards, select "Boards." Then select "Trello" from the drop down menu next to "Service." Then enter the name you would like displayed on each board you integrate then click "Save Integration."
  • In Trello, click on "Boards" then click "Edit List Settings." Click on "Visibility" then check "Anyone can view this list." Then enter "https://www.meistertask.com/boards/" without quotes into the field next to "Public Boards URL." Then click "Publish Changes."
  • On your dashboard page in MeisterTask, click on "My Account" at the top right corner of any page then click "Board Integrations" at the left side of the page that opens then click on the board you just created then click on the button below "Trello Integration Settings" then click "Create Integration." When prompted for credentials for this integration, select "Trello" from the drop down menu next to "Service." Check "Automatic Push Updates" then click "Create Integration."
  • In MeisterTask, click on the board you just created then press Command + Shift + D (Mac. or Contrp + Shift + D (Windows. then enter a title for this dashboard in the field that opens then click "Add Dashboard." When prompted to choose where you want to add this dashboard, click "Add Dashboard" again then when prompted for credentials for this dashboard type your email address and password for your Trello account then press Enter (Mac. or Return (Windows. To integrate these two applications together using lists. fplow these steps. 1. Sign into MeisterTask then click on "My Account" at the top right corner of any page then click "Integrations" at the left side of the page that opens then click "Create New Integration." When prompted to choose between using lists or boards choose "Lists." Then select “Trello” from the drop down menu next to “Service." Then enter whatever name you would like displayed on each list you integrate. Then press Add List. 2. In Trello, go to the list you wish to integrate with MeisterTask. Click "List Settings" in the top right corner then check “Anyone with link can edit” under “Who can edit this list?” and enter “https://www.meistertask.com/lists/” without quotes into the field next to “Public List URL” then press Save List Settings. 3. On your dashboard page in MeisterTask click on “My Account” at the top right corner of any page then click “List Integrations” at the left side of the page that opens then click on the list you just created then click on the button below “Trello Integration Settings” then click “Create Integration." When prompted for credentials for this integration select “Trello” from the drop down menu next to “Service” then check “Automatic Push Updates” then click “Create Integration." 4. In Trello go to the list you wish to integrate with MeisterTask then open a browser window or tab and go to https://www.meistertask.com/lists/[list name]ew_card where [list name] is the name of your list without brackets or spaces (for example https://www.meistertask.com/lists/Meeting Minutes. A window will appear asking you if you want to send this card's information to your MeisterTask dashboard card by entering your email address and password for your MeisterTask account then pressing Enter (Mac. or Return (Windows. Press Enter (Mac. or Return (Windows. You should see this card's information appear in both MeisterTask and Trello! 5. To remove a card from either application simply delete it from one site then delete it from both sites automatically! Note. this integration does not support attachments yet!
