  • To begin integration of Mautic and MailChimp, you will need to create an account in both systems and link them together. You can set up the integration through either the admin panel of Mautic or by using the API key to create an app in MailChimp. The integration process takes only a few minutes and does not require any technical skills. The steps are similar in both the systems:

    Create a new app in MailChimp by going to your account settings page and clicking on ‘Apps’ tab under the ‘Integrations’ section. Click ‘Create New Integration’ button and then select ‘Mautic’ from the list of applications. In the next page, give a name to your application and choose ‘Mautic Enterprise’ from the list of options. This step will make sure that you won’t be able to create more than one app for your account using this particular API key. You will get a unique API key for your application after completing this step. Copy this key and go back to the Mautic admin panel where you should click on ‘Integrations’ tab under ‘Settings’ section. Paste the API key you just copied into the field labeled ‘API Key’, then click ‘Next Step’ button. In the next page, you will see a list of options for integrating your Mautic account with MailChimp. Choose ‘Automatically create contact records from Mautic users’ from the list of options and click ‘Continue’ button. In the next screen, you will be asked to enter some additional information about your application like name of your application, website URL, description of your app, etc. When everything is filled out correctly, click ‘Create App’ button at the bottom of the page. That’s it! You have now successfully integrated your accounts. Now just go back to MailChimp dashboard where you will see a new app listed under ‘Apps’ section under ‘Integrations’ tab. You can check its status by clicking on ‘Connected’ button located right next to the app name in this section. That is all! Your accounts are now linked together!
