It helps in creating and managing multiple email campaigns to the customers. The marketing emails can be sent via MailerLite’s email template editor or via external templates. MailerLite helps in scheduling and automating these campaigns.
MailerLite can integrate with Intercom using Zapier. Zapier automates tasks such as sending specific data from one platform to another platform. For example, when a user signs up for a service, Zapier can forward this information to MailerLite so that the information can be added to the user’s profile automatically. This also triggers an email campaign about the user’s experience using the service.
Zapier can be integrated with MailerLite and Intercom using an app called Zapspricer. With Zapspricer, MailerLite can be integrated with Intercom by making use of pre-written zaps which are ready to be used. These zaps can be modified if there are any changes needed to be made. The integration between Intercom and MailerLite can be carried out in four steps:
Step 1. Create an account with Zapspricer by providing details such as email address and password. After signing up, a user will get an access to the dashboard which displays all apps that are connected to Zapspricer. A user will get an option to add new apps either manually or by importing them from Github.
Step 2. After integration is complete, it is necessary to give proper permissions to MailerLite and Intercom so that they can work together seamlessly. If there are any issues regarding integration, then they must be reported to Zapspricer support team so that they can be respved quickly.
Step 3. Once integration is complete, a user can schedule message sends from MailerLite to Intercom users. This is done by clicking on ‘Edit’ button next to ‘Sending Campaigns’ tab on MailerLite dashboard and selecting ‘Add a New Action’ under ‘Zapier’ section. Here a user has two options – ‘Send Message to Intercom User’ or ‘Create User in Intercom’. The former option lets you send a message to a specific user in Intercom while the latter creates a user profile in Intercom for each subscriber who subscribes using MailerLite signup forms. In addition, it also creates a contact record in Intercom for each subscriber who subscribes using MailerLite signup forms. A user can modify the default subject line used by MailerLite for sending messages by clicking on ‘Modify Subject Line’ button next to ‘Sending Campaigns’ tab on MailerLite dashboard. By default, MailerLite uses the title of the campaign in subject line but if required, it can be changed here as well. A user can also select who should receive the message from MailerLite by checking off boxes next to each field under ‘Who will receive this message?’ section. Messages can be sent based on campaign status (open or closed. or based on whether subscribers are active or inactive. A user can also set a delay for sending messages based on campaign status. A delay can be set between 0 and 24 hours before sending a message after campaign status changes. A user can add more actions if required by going back to ‘Sending Campaigns’ tab on MailerLite dashboard and clicking on ‘Add More Actions’ link under ‘Zapier’ section. Here again, the same two options – ‘Send Message To Intercom User’ or ‘Create User In Intercom’ are available but they are located under ‘Zapier’ section rather than under ‘Zapier->Sending Campaigns’ section like earlier in case of adding first action. There are some other options located below both options. Profile Status. This option determines what happens when subscribers subscribe using MailerLite signup form – it either creates contacts records in Intercom or opens existing contacts records with profile status being OPENED . This option can be useful when testing your Zap because it allows you to see how your Zaps will work with different subscriber profiles without having to subscribe them manually through MailerLite interface or application form every time you need to test something out. Campaign Status. This option determines what happens when subscribers subscribe using MailerLite signup form – it either opens existing contacts records with profile status being UNKNOWN , CLOSED or OPENED . In addition, it also sets the campaign status as OPENED when doing so if it wasn’t already OPENED . Campaign Status allows you to test your Zaps with different subscriber profiles without having to subscribe them manually through MailerLite interface or application form every time you need to test something out. Campaign Status and Profile Status can be used simultaneously as well if there is some scenario where you want certain subscribers to have OPENED profile status when they subscribe through MailerLite signup form but not always open existing contacts records with profile status being UNKNOWN , CLOSED or OPENED . Delay. This option determines how long should be waited before sending a message after campaign status change occurs – between 0 seconds (i.e., immediately. and 24 hours (i.e., 1 day. Message.
