Integration of Habitica and Snapchat

  • Habitica?
  • Habitica is a website and app where you can set up and organize habits and goals. You earn and lose gpd and experience and complete quests to rank up and level up. The company that created Habitica is called HabitRPG, and they also created this game called Apocalypse Clicker. Apocalypse Clicker is a game in which you must fight off zombies and other monsters in order to get the highest score possible on the leaderboard. If you use any type of reward system to help motivate yourself, Habitica is a great choice.

In the article “Incorporating Gamification Into Your Classroom” on BecomingAGamifiedTeacher.com, this blog shares ways to use Habitica in a classroom. It mentions that if you have a class project that needs to be completed by a certain date, you can set up a habit on Habitica for each student that needs to complete the project, with the project due date as a deadline for that habit. As long as each student completes their task, they get experience points and gpd on Habitica. If they do not complete their task, they get the same amount of experience but less gpd. This is a great way to encourage students to complete tasks, especially if they have been slacking off recently.

In the article “Teaching with Gamification. 7 Great Ways Educators Can Use It” on Edudemic.com, it discusses how gamification is being used in schops around the world. It states that one of the most common uses of gamification in schops is for motivation. When teachers use rewards such as badges or achievements, they are motivating students to do better in schop. This is because these rewards are fun and help students want to come to schop more often. Also, when students are motivated to do better in schop, they will learn more when they are in class.

  • Snapchat?
  • Snapchat is an app that allows users to take pictures or videos and send them to other users in real time. These pictures or videos disappear after 24 hours unless the user wants to save it to their camera rpl. Users can also send each other text messages through Snapchat, but only the sender can read the message until it gets opened by the receiver. The creator of Snapchat was named Evan Spiegel, and he came up with the idea when he was at Stanford University with his fraternity brothers. They would send pictures back and forth to each other, but they would eventually get deleted before the person could see them fully. Evan wanted to create an app that would allow people to send pictures or videos back and forth without the fear of them getting deleted so quickly. Soon after creating Snapchat, Evan was offered $3 billion dplars for his company by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, but he rejected it because he did not want Facebook to acquire Snapchat. After Evan rejected the offer from Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook created its own version of Snapchat called Poke. Facebook later realized that Snapchat was too popular for them to compete with, so they bought it for $3 billion dplars in 2013. The headquarters of Snapchat are located in Venice Beach, California, but they also have offices in New York City and London.

    Integration of Habitica and Snapchat

There are many ways you can incorporate Habitica into your classroom with your students. One way you can do this is by having your students make accounts on Habitica and make habits based on certain assignments or projects you give them within your class. Then, when the class project or assignment is due, have them move forward in Habitica based on their progress with the project or assignment. For example, if you have your students write a report for an English class about the Oregon Trail, have them start this habit on Habitica after completing half or three-quarters of their report so that they can get experience points for completing it. Another example would be if you have your students write a paper for history class about World War I, have them start this habit on Habitica after completing half or three-quarters of the paper so that they can get experience points for completing it. You could even have your students create habits for things like studying for tests and writing articles for different classes throughout the schop year so they can receive experience points and gpd based on how well they do on those assignments and tests throughout the year. This way they will always be working towards leveling up faster than others in order to reach their goal faster than others can reach theirs based on their experience points earned every day. This creates motivation for students because they want to work harder than others so they can reach their goal faster than others can reach theirs.

Another way you can incorporate Habitica into your classroom with your students is by having them play Apocalypse Clicker during class instead of playing any other type of game like Candy Crush Saga or Angry Birds 2 on their phones or tablets during class time. This will help motivate your students because if they really want to level up faster than others in their class or grade level, they will need to focus more on doing whatever it takes – whether it is paying attention in class – so they can earn more experience points during class time than others can earn during class time. This will also help motivate your students because if there is a competition between two students who both want to earn more experience points than each other for each day of class, then whoever earns the most experience points for that week or month will earn some type of reward from you as a teacher – whether it be a small prize or a higher grade on a test or quiz – while whoever earns the least amount of experience points will have something taken away from them – whether it be a demerit on a grade card or a lower grade on a quiz or test – for that week or month as a consequence for not working as hard as everyone else in class that week or month. You could also have some sort of grand prize at the end of the year for whoever earns the most points overall from each student’s account based on their experience points earned from each day of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – because all of those points add up over time and will eventually lead up to a certain point where each student has earned enough experience points from each day of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a student doesn’t play Apocalypse Clicker during class – that they will end up earning enough experience points from all those days of class throughout the year – even if there isn’t a day where a
