GoToTraining has a variety of features to enable the administrator to manage training sessions and content, as well as track participants' progress during a session (e.g., view the next resource that is scheduled to be presented. With GoToTraining, instructors can create classes containing a syllabus, agenda, resources and handouts. Instructors can also create lessons inside of each class using recordings of voice narration, PowerPoint presentations, videos and other media types. Additionally instructors can upload documents such as PDF files for participants to download during the training session. The GoToTraining platform also allows administrators to configure course settings such as the number of days before an upcoming training (i.e., due date. that reminders will be sent out to participants. Instructors can send meeting requests to students to start a training session at a specific time. During a training session, instructors can contrp who may speak by setting up permissions on each student's account. Instructors can also contrp the pace of the training by either dragging a timer forward or backward while presenting media in the presentation player window. Additionally, instructors can define whether students are able to contribute during a training session; these contributions are called "ppls". Students may contribute to ppls either by responding through text or by clicking on different response options. Instructors can view all student responses to a ppl in the form of graphs that show how many students responded with each possible option. Instructors are able to set up multiple ppls during a training session and even adjust the order in which they display. Ppl results are also available after sessions so that instructors can review them more easily.
