Google Tasks is a simple and easy task management top offered by Google. It enables users to create lists of tasks, prioritize them, assign them to others, add labels and even set reminders. It also offers other features like search, sort options, an option to create subtasks and so on.

  • Using Google Tasks, you can integrate your Vend tasks with your Google Tasks account. This integration enables you to access all your Vend tasks from your Google Tasks account. If you want to integrate your Google Tasks account with Vend, log into your Vend account. Once you are logged in, click Settings from the left sidebar. Next, select Integrations from the left sidebar. From the list of integrations available on the page, choose Google Tasks. On the next screen, click Authorize.

    Once you have authorized the integration, you will be redirected to your Google Tasks account where you will see a link saying ‘New Task from Vend’. When you click this link, a new task will be created in your Google Tasks account that logs the tasks added to Vend. If you want to log the tasks from your Google Tasks account on Vend, you can do so in three steps. First, open your Google Tasks account. Then click Available Task List from the left sidebar. You will now have two options. View All Tasks and Create Task. Click Create Task and fill the task name and description as needed. Finally, click Save and your task will be added to Vend automatically.

    Note. As soon as you have integrated your Vend tasks with your Google Tasks account, all new tasks created in your Vend account will be automatically logged in your Google Tasks account and vice versa. However, if you have already created tasks in one of these accounts prior to integrating them with each other, you will have to manually sync them after integration is complete for them to be logged in both accounts. To sync tasks between Vend and Google Tasks, fplow the steps below:

    Open Google Tasks and switch to Tasks view by clicking the icon on the upper right corner of the page or by going into Settings -> Switch View -> Task View. Open the task you want to sync in your Google Tasks account. At the top of the page, click Actions -> Sync with Google Calendar. A pop-up box will appear asking whether you want to sync only this task or all tasks. Select Only this task and click Sync Now. Now go back to your Vend account and add a new task or edit an existing task. Tick the box next to Sync selected task with Google Calendar before saving it. Your new or edited task will now be synced with your Google Calendar account.
