Integration of Google Tasks and OneDrive

In this article, I will explain the integration between Google Tasks and OneDrive. The reason why I chose to write this article is because I have been using both Google Tasks and OneDrive for a long time. These two applications are very useful because they can help you organize your life and tasks. Integration of these two applications can be easy if you have those two apps installed on your computer. In this article, I will explain how to set up Google Tasks and OneDrive to work together. In addition, I will explain benefits of integration between those two applications.

Google Tasks

Google Tasks is a web-based application that comes with the Google suite of applications. It is one of the most popular to-do list applications nowadays. The benefit of using Google Tasks is that it is free of cost and easy to access from any device with an internet connection. You can use Google Tasks to create lists of tasks with several categories. You can also organize your tasks in different projects. Every task in Google Tasks automatically gets synchronized across all your devices, which means that it will be updated automatically in real time when you add or update a task. Also, you can share the tasks with people who are in your projects or in your team. This can be quite helpful when you are working together with others on some project.

OneDrive

OneDrive is also a web-based application like Google Tasks. However, unlike Google Tasks, OneDrive has to be installed on your computer in order to work properly. It is built into Windows 10 operating system by default. It contains many features like automatic backup, sharing with people in your team, and synchronization with all devices connected to the same Microsoft account. OneDrive allows you to store unlimited files in its cloud storage space. You can easily drag files into OneDrive in Windows 10 File Explorer. Just drag the file into the OneDrive fpder inside File Explorer and it will get saved automatically in the cloud storage space. You can also open any file stored in OneDrive directly from your desktop or any other fpder in Windows 10 File Explorer by clicking the “Open With” button at the bottom left hand corner of File Explorer window. This helps you quickly open any file that is stored in your OneDrive cloud storage space.

The integration between Google Tasks and OneDrive is pretty simple to set up. To set up Google Tasks and OneDrive to work together, you need to do the fplowing steps:

Step 1. Install both Google Tasks and OneDrive on your computer

Step 2. Open both Google Tasks and OneDrive on your computer

Step 3. Create a new fpder on OneDrive

Step 4. Create a new task list on Google Tasks

Step 5. Drag the new fpder from OneDrive into the new task list

Install Both Google Tasks and OneDrive on Your Computer

You need to install both Google Tasks and OneDrive on your computer before you can start using them together. If you already have both of them installed on your computer, then go ahead to step 2 below. Otherwise, fplow these simple steps to install both of them:

  • Log into your Google account and click on the menu button at the top right hand corner of the window
  • Click on “Google Chrome” and select “Add to Chrome” option from the drop down menu
  • A pop-up window will appear when you try to add Google Chrome to Chrome browser; select “Add app” option from the drop down menu and click “Add app” button to complete installation process
