Integration of Google Tasks and CloudTalk

  • Google Tasks is an online task manager. It is one way to organize your tasks online. It is very useful for people who are often busy with meetings and other obligations, but still want to stay on track. To create a task, you would use the “Add Task” button, then you can set a date, time, priority, tags, notes, etc. You can even set reminders that will alert you when it’s time to complete the task. The tasks are organized into lists. To create a new list, you go to the “Create New List” tab and enter the name of the list. When you are done creating tasks, you can mark them as completed using the “Complete” button. CloudTalk is an online meeting room hosted by Google. CloudTalk provides many features for meetings. Any user can join a meeting by clicking on the link provided. For example, if someone emails you their CloudTalk link, you can just click on it to join the meeting instantly. There are many other features besides that. Everyone has access to the whiteboard, chat box, and video conferencing. You can also schedule meetings in advance or just schedule them right there on the spot.

  • CloudTalk is an online meeting room hosted by Google. It is one way to conduct meetings online. You can use this top to plan events or brainstorm ideas with cplaborators around the world. The default language is English; however, you can choose which language you would like to use. If you do not want to be disturbed during the meeting, you can turn off notifications for CloudTalk to ensure that no one messes with your focus. You can also record your meeting or screen share at any time during the meeting. To start a meeting, you would go to “Start a Meeting” and then click “Start a new Meeting”. Name your meeting and then choose whether you want to use a video call or a voice call. With a video call, anyone can see what you are doing on your computer screen at any time. With a voice call, only those on the call can hear what you have to say. You can choose from different video formats such as auto-rotation or fullscreen. You can also change your camera view from top/bottom/left/right/split view as well as change your microphone vpume levels. In addition to calling people on the phone, you can also communicate via chat if you do not want to talk over the phone. People who join the meeting can draw on your screen using a whiteboard top and they can also send messages to each other through a chat box. They can also share their web pages with everyone else on the call by projecting them onto the screen of everyone else on the call. You can set up multiple screens if needed as well as view everyone else’s screens. Each person participating in the meeting has a personal URL that they give out to others so that they can join their meeting easily. In addition to having audio calls, people can also conduct video conferences with each other using CloudTalk. When they conduct a video conference, they just need to turn on their video and then they will be shown on everyone else’s screens.

  • Google Tasks and CloudTalk could integrate together so that users can use both programs together with ease. This integration could include bringing the tasks from Google Tasks into CloudTalk so that people could work together on those tasks as well as bring all of their meetings into Google Tasks so that they could keep track of everything even better than before. To integrate Google Tasks and CloudTalk together, we would need to understand how both of these programs work separately and then we could integrate them together based on what we know about them and what we want to do with them together. Google Tasks and CloudTalk both run off of Google’s servers and they both use Google Drive which means they are both linked together by default. This means that if we create a task in Google Tasks and we save it with Google Drive, it will appear in CloudTalk if we choose to save it with CloudTalk as well (if we do not save it with CloudTalk, it will appear in Google Tasks. We also need to make sure that if anyone sends us a link for our CloudTalk meeting room, we can join it without having to go through many steps or if anyone sends us a link for our CloudTalk task list, we can access them without having to open up another program or website. Many people already use Google Tasks because it is an easy way to organize their tasks better while many people already use CloudTalk because it is one way they can communicate better while conducting business or other important meetings. If these two programs were linked together, it would make things much easier for all users who use both programs daily because it would allow them to cplaborate more efficiently instead of using two separate programs for two different types of cplaboration. Google Tasks could also integrate with other programs such as Microsoft Office so that users who are accustomed to using it could still continue using their favorite program along with Google Tasks without having to learn something completely new or difficult to master. For this integration, we could integrate Google Tasks with Microsoft Office by doing something similar to what we did above where we created a task in Google Tasks and saved it with Microsoft Office so that it appears in Microsoft Office automatically rather than having to go through extra steps just to get into Microsoft Office due to the integration between these two programs (just like how when someone sends us a link for our CloudTalk task list or for our CloudTalk meeting room, we can join them quickly without having to go through any extra steps; when someone sends us an email with our CloudTalk link in it, we can click on it and join our meeting if we choose. If someone sends us an email with our CloudTalk link in it (or if we send ourselves an email with our CloudTalk link in it), we would be able to decide whether we want our task list opened in Google Tasks or if we want our meeting room opened in Google Tasks (as opposed to opening up two separate programs.
