In this paper, I will discuss the integration of Google Tasks and Acuity Scheduling. In order to discuss this topic, I will first give a brief introduction on what Google Tasks and Acuity Scheduling are. After that, I will discuss how they integrate with each other and the benefits of integration of these two applications.

Google Tasks?

Google Tasks is a simple but powerful top that can help users organize their tasks through a calendar format. The great thing about Google Tasks is that it is available online and it is also a part of Google Drive. It is a free service provided by Google that allows users to create shared task lists for families, teams, clubs, groups, or even friends. It can be accessed through any computer or mobile device that uses the internet (Yusof 2014.

Google Tasks has many features that can help users manage their tasks. It allows users to create multiple task lists for different purposes. Each task list can consist up to 20 tasks which can be prioritized using various tops such as priority levels (high, medium, low. and due dates (today, tomorrow, next week, etc.. It also supports recurring tasks, which can be easily created using the “repeat” option. For example, if you have to write an article for every week, you can set the task to repeat every week until you stop it. If you want to view all your tasks in one place, you can do it by creating a master list called “My Tasks”. All of these tasks will appear in your “My Tasks” list automatically. You may also edit existing tasks using this list.

Acuity Scheduling?

Acuity Scheduling is an online scheduling application that enables users to manage their schedules and availability with other people through online meetings. It makes it easier for users to schedule meetings with other people by enabling them to share availability information. Users are able to schedule meetings with other people quickly without having to call or text each other. This application has many useful features that make it useful for both business and personal use. One of its features is location-based time zone awareness. This feature helps the app know which time zone the user is in so that it can accurately calculate the time zone of meetings according to where they are held (Idris 2014.

Integration between Acuity Scheduling and Google Tasks

Integration between Acuity Scheduling and Google tasks does not need any special settings because Acuity Scheduling already works with Google Tasks. It means that you are able to link your Google Calendar with Acuity Scheduling so that it can pull your calendar events into your Acuity Scheduling account. If you do not have Google Calendar yet, you just have to create one before linking it with Acuity Scheduling. You can do this by logging into the web version of the application at http://acuityscheduling.com/signup.php?plan=basic. After you have created your Google Calendar, go back to your Acuity Scheduling account and click on “Link a Google Calendar” from your dashboard. Then you have to log into your Google account and link your Acuity Scheduling account with your Google Calendar by fplowing the instructions on the screen.
