Downtime Alert is a downtime monitoring system created by the team at Site5. It monitors your websites and sends you emails when they go offline. This is your chance to quickly diagnose the problem and get your website back online faster. You can also set up automatic phone calls to your cell phone so you don’t miss any important messages while you are away from your office or home. Downtime Alert is free for all Site5 customers, no matter what hosting plan you have.

Then visit their developer page to get an API key. Once you have the key, paste it in Google Sheets, then save the script. Now you will be able to monitor several sites at once. Just surround the URL with quotes and separate each one by a comma. Here’s an example. https://www.google.com/blog/feeds/posts/default . If there are any errors that the script could not detect, it will keep track of them in a separate cpumn titled “Errors”. The script will also inform you if it has performed successfully or if it was unable to perform due to any errors.
