ActiveCampaign is a comprehensive marketing automation spution for small and medium sized businesses. Designed to help marketers connect with their audience, ActiveCampaign offers email templates, landing pages, social media management, web analytics, and more.

Integration of Google Sheets and ActiveCampaign

Integration of Google Sheets and ActiveCampaign requires you to duplicate your data in both platforms. With this integration, you can pull data from Google Sheets into ActiveCampaign and push data from ActiveCampaign into Google Sheets. This post will give you step by step instructions on how to integrate these two platforms.

  • Create a Google Sheet in your google drive account. Download the spreadsheet here.
  • Go through the instructions in Google sheets to get to the Data Settings menu. Choose “Connect to a new service” from the menu on the left.
  • Select “Add a new custom connection” from the list of options shown on the screen. Then, click “Continue” in the pop-up window that appears next.
  • Select “OAuth 2.0” as the type of authentication method used to securely connect to ActiveCampaign. Optionally, choose “HTTPS” if it is not already selected as the protocp for authorization requests. Click “Next” when you finish choosing these options.
  • Copy the Client ID from your Namecheap domain into the “Authorized Redirect URI” field on this screen. Enter your username into the “Client ID (email address)” field and click “Verify and Authorize” to start setting up your access to ActiveCampaign. You will be redirected to Namecheap where you will need to enter your Namecheap username and password. This will complete the connection between the two platforms. Then, you will be returned to ActiveCampaign, where you will be able to select which specific features you want to enable for your account. Make sure that all three boxes are checked, and then click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page to finish configuring your integration.
  • Go back to your Google Sheets spreadsheet, refresh the page and verify that your data is being pulled from ActiveCampaign into Google Sheets!
