What is Google Calendar?

Google Calendar is a free calendaring service developed by Google. It offers web and mobile apps to access calendars through its website. It is also available as part of gmail.com, google apps, and on the iPhone. Google Calendar can be used in conjunction with other services to keep track of events and make plans. What is SendFox?

SendFox is a free and open source calendar application that also integrates with Google Calendar. It was created by Hanno Böck.

The SendFox project was started in 2007 as a way to create an open source alternative to iCal on Mac OS X. SendFox currently supports iCalendar (.ics. files including vCard attachments. It also has support for importing vCards from the Address Book application as well as exporting vCards to the Address Book application.
