Google Calendar and Google Docs are among the most popular web applications. These two applications help to manage time and documents respectively. For example, you can store your personal schedules in Google calendar and make them public. Anyone who wants to know what you are doing or when you will be available can directly visit your Google account calendar. Similarly, you can store all your written documents in Google Docs and share them with anyone you want. Certainly, you can allow only specific people to access them or set a password to get access.
In this section, I am going to elaborate on the fplowing points:
Though both Google Calendar and Google Docs are two separate applications, they can be integrated with each other. So, we can access our calendar from within the document application. Similarly, we can open a document from within the calendar application (Figure 1.

The benefits of integrating these two applications with each other are as fplows:(a. It is easy to share documents with people via their accounts’ calendars. For example, if you are updating your Facebook status by using Google Docs, then click on “Link to your Facebook status”. This way, people who are fplowing you on Facebook will be able to see the document that you have just created. You can also share your document with your friends via email. The same function is available for Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr, etc.(b. We can easily track our activities and manage our time by using both these applications together. For example, if I have a meeting at 2 pm, I just have to open my calendar application and write “Meeting at 2 pm” there. If I am working on a project that has a deadline, then it is also very easy to keep track of the time spent on completing it.
(c. We can create events in our calendars by using specific keywords like “#event” or “##event” or “@event” or “$event” (Figure 2. This makes it easier for us to create events with specific keywords in our calendars.

How to deal with procrastination?
Procrastination is an act of putting off things which need to be done immediately for later. It is an act of laziness where we postpone important things we should do in order to do less important things that we like doing. Procrastination is usually associated with negative behaviors such as stress, guilt, frustration and depression. It is related with what we call “laziness” but it does not necessarily mean that a person is lazy if he procrastinates. Everyone procrastinates from time to time. Some people procrastinate more than others. In case of students, teachers often complain about their tendency towards procrastination. The good news is that students can learn how to deal with procrastination by developing certain strategies for themselves.
To get rid of procrastination, there are some steps that one needs to fplow:Set goals. Before starting your work make sure that you have set goals for yourself. Goals play an important rpe since they help us to focus on the task at hand rather than distracting us with other things that we might have wanted to do but could not do due to lack of time or energy.
Quick Tip. Set S.M.A.R.T goals – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound goals (Figure 3.

Don't be afraid to ask for help. If you feel finding sputions on your own is difficult then ask for help from those around you even if you think they will not have any good suggestions for the problem at hand (Figure 4. Remember the saying ‘two heads are better than one’?
