Step 1. Go to project configuration and create an account for your server with Pingdom.
Step 2. Add your details for the server in “Your Server” tab under “Webhooks” option in your project configuration.
Step 3. Make sure that you have selected “Enabled” option for the “PINGDOM” hook in your project configuration. Then save it.
Step 4. Now you need to find the API key for your project from Pingdom side. To do this, you need to visit your project’s detail page under “Monitoring” section in your Pingdom account and then click on “Edit” button to find your API key. You will get your API key as a string. Copy it. You can now add this API key as a secret variable in your project.
Step 5. After adding this API key, go to the “Webhooks” section in your project configuration. There you will find a new section called “Pingdom”. In there, you will see some fields where you need to paste the API key you copied previously. Select the event type and select the action type (either trigger or alert. Then save it. That’s it! Your integration is now complete.
