GitLab is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that uses Git. It provides access contrp, issue tracking, CI/CD integration, and a wiki with markdown. GitLab allows users to create public or private projects and share code among other developers. The website is based on git repository management with its own frontend GitLab CE.     GitLab is installed as a Ruby on Rails web application. After installing, we will get the default URL http://localhost:3000/ (Please note the port is different. By default, GitLab is configured with “root” as an administrator account. So you can log in with username “root” and password “5iveL!fe” into your GitLab instance. Then you can copy the URL and send it to Fplow Up Boss team via email or chat messages (i.e., Slack, HipChat, Flowdock or Mattermost. After Fplow Up Boss configures the webhook in their side, they can send a commit event to GitLab via this webhook URL whenever there are commits pushed by developers.
