GitLab is installed as a Ruby on Rails web application. After installing, we will get the default URL http://localhost:3000/ (Please note the port is different. By default, GitLab is configured with “root” as an administrator account. So you can log in with username “root” and password “5iveL!fe” into your GitLab instance.
