Integration of Freshservice and Blesta

The project “Integration of Freshservice and Blesta” is a research project carried out by a group of students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Sarajevo. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of customer satisfaction when using Freshservice and Blesta. In addition, customers were interviewed to find out from them what they think about the integration of these two software systems.

In this part, we present how Freshservice and Blesta are integrated with each other. We have chosen a case in which a user tries to book a hotel room in a 3-star hotel in Sarajevo.

After a user chooses a hotel in a particular region, he/she can see a list of 3-star hotels in that region. The user can choose one hotel from the list and click on “See more”. This action will take the user to the booking form where he/she can fill in all the details (reservation date, arrival time, number of persons, etc.. After that, the user clicks on “Continue” and he/she will be taken to the final screen where he/she can view his/her reservation and change it if needed.

Through this research we found out that users were satisfied with the integration of Freshservice and Blesta and did not identify many problems with the software system. Our findings show that both the integration of Freshservice and Blesta and the software itself are highly functional. However, because we talked only with one type of user (individuals who booked their hotels themselves), we cannot claim that this is true for all tasks that users perform while using these systems. Therefore, further research should be carried out with other types of users.
