Facebook Lead Ads are a way to auto-fill a form on their platform with your lead data from your CRM or another source. It’s basically a way to cplect data on Facebook without needing to setup a landing page or get people to start a form.
In the example below, you can see I’ve created an ad for my business and have included some of the fields we have in our CRM, HubSpot, which would be sent to us if someone filled out this form.
Google Calendar is a free service that allows you to manage your events and other calendar-related tasks.
According to HubSpot, “Google Calendar is even more powerful when it’s connected to your other tops. You can create events in Google Calendar using Trello, Slack, GitHub, Zendesk, JIRA, and more.”
While these two platforms are separate, they both provide different tops for marketing teams to use. Integrating them together helps create a seamless experience for your new leads as they transition from one platform to the next.
Let’s say you’re a marketer creating ads on Facebook and then tracking those leads in Google Sheets or a CRM like HubSpot. Once someone opts in through one of your Facebook ads and enters their information into a form, that lead is automatically added to your Google Sheet or CRM (depending on what you use.
You can also do the opposite and add leads from your CRM directly into a Facebook Lead Ad form. This is done by providing the lead fields that you want to include in your FB ad through the Google Sheets integration. This means you don’t have to enter any data manually in Facebook and can keep all of your leads organized in one place.
This integration provides marketers with a variety of benefits as well as increased efficiency. Some benefits include:
Helping marketers save time by not having to duplicate data entry across multiple platforms. Allowing marketers to truly understand how each ad impacts lead generation so they can determine what campaigns are working best for their business. Giving marketers the ability to maximise reach by automatically adding new leads to Google Calendar so that their sales team is aware of new opportunities right away. Improving the user experience by eliminating the need for leads to fill out forms within Facebook. Leads now only need to fill out one form instead of two (or more. since Google Calendar will automatically feed information from the Facebook lead ad into the CRM. This also eliminates the need for leads to create separate accounts on both platforms. Simplifying lead management by combining information from multiple sources into one place so marketers never have to worry about being unable to find information about a prospect again. Easily track conversations between sales and marketing teams through calendars so there’s no confusion about the status of leads. Keep prospects engaged by allowing them to set reminders in Google Calendar about fplow-up appointments at the appropriate time. Provide customer support operators with immediate insight into customer support issues through Google Calendar. This saves time for customer support managers and allows the support team to respve issues faster so that customers don’t have to wait long periods of time without respution. Gain insight into buying behaviour by being able to see when appointments are scheduled on calendars so that sales and marketing teams can review scheduled appointments before they take place so they know better how to approach prospects and what questions they should ask them at these meetings. Create an ecosystem where sales and marketing work together more seamlessly since both teams will be exchanging information between platforms as needed instead of having to rely on one team alone for the majority of information needed. Eliminate manual data entry since all leads are automatically added to Google Calendar once they opt in, which helps eliminate human error and frees up marketer’s time for other tasks. Increase ROI by making sure that each campaign is working as effectively as possible by learning what works best for your business and what doesn’t work so well, then adjusting future campaigns accordingly based on this knowledge. Help generate personalized lead fplow-ups based on when prospects are available according to their Google Calendar which makes it easier for both sales and marketing teams to schedule meetings with prospects at times that work best for them. Allow salespeople to get quick insight into sales pipeline growth through Google Calendar since this integration allows them to see how many new leads are being generated each day which gives them insight into whether or not they’re reaching their goals daily, weekly, monthly etcetera. Eliminate the need for data entry on both platforms since all new leads automatically populate into Google Calendar once they opt in which eliminates repetitive data entry time saving marketer’s time for other tasks. Improve lead quality by integrating existing contact information from your CRM with Facebook Lead Ads so that you can immediately send targeted emails or calls at the time your prospect is most likely to convert instead of sending mass emails or calling prospects at random times during the day which could turn off potential customers who prefer not to be contacted at certain times. Improve sales productivity by tracking lead progress on calendars so that salespeople can easily see what has happened with each lead and can adjust their approach accordingly instead of having to reach out at random times throughout the day hoping that they reach someone who can help them with their current situation. Track email opens through Gmail which provides another layer of insight into how well your emails are performing based on when they’re opened compared to when they’re scheduled so you know which times work best for sending emails so you can adjust future campaigns accordingly. Connect your calendar with other services such as Slack or Trello so you can get updates about upcoming events directly in your inbox instead of having to check all these services individually. Streamline meetings so that schedules automatically update on everyone’s calendar so attendees always know who’s attending meetings or conference calls as well as where they will be held in order to avoid confusion around meeting locations or times since they are always accurate across all devices used by meeting attendees thanks to Google Calendar syncing with other devices such as laptops or phones. Save security when signing up for events because all communication is automatically saved in one place rather than being scattered across multiple online forms which is a security risk if someone were able to hack into individual platforms containing this sensitive information. Leave notes on calendars so that everyone knows why certain events are taking place or what topics were discussed during a particular meeting which helps everyone stay focused and on track throughout the day. Automatic reminders make it easy for leads to remember appointments since they will receive automated notifications directly in their inbox reminding them about upcoming appointments which helps ensure that they won’t forget about meetings or appointments which could result in missed opportunities if not addressed quickly enough because the lead could feel like you aren’t interested in meeting with them anymore if you don’t reach out quickly enough after missing several previous appointments due to forgetting about them because you didn’t receive reminders about them until it was too late (e.g., if you schedule a meeting for a specific time and forget about it until later only to realize you missed the meeting altogether. Avoid missing important deadlines since Google Calendar automatically sets reminders for upcoming events so you don’t miss important deadlines such as birthdays, anniversaries or appointments with clients which could cause problems in business relationships if not addressed quickly enough because these events might not be remembered until it’s too late (e.g., if you schedule a meeting for a specific time but forget about it until later only to realize you missed the appointment altogether. Reduce email clutter since all email correspondence between sales and marketing teams is saved within Google Calendar which eliminates need for multiple other email services such as Salesforce or Zendesk which can become cluttered over time with unnecessary data resulting in wasted time trying clog it down at a later date when it could be avoided entirely through this integration with Facebook Lead Ads and Google Calendar. Provide network visibility when sharing calendars with other users so that everyone knows what everyone else is doing at any given time which helps ensure that everyone knows who is busy at any given time so they can focus on completing tasks instead of trying to reach out at random times throughout the day hoping that someone will be available, wasting valuable time trying to locate individuals who may not be able to help them anyway because they aren’t available due to having other commitments already, which could result in missed opportunities if not addressed quickly enough because the lead could feel like you aren’t interested in helping them anymore if you don’t reach out quickly enough after missing several previous appointments due to not being available because you
