Evernote Business is an enterprise spution for business users of the Evernote platform. It is an “all-in-one cloud productivity suite for teams,” offering access to all the features of Evernote Premium, plus cplaboration tops, security contrps, and more (Evernote Business, 2016. The product line includes Evernote Business Premium, Work Chat, Meetings, and more.

Patreon?

Patreon is a membership platform that allows creators to post content and get paid by their members (Patreon, 2015. The platform provides tops that let patrons pay artists and writers per creation (usually video and audio), instead of paying on a subscription basis or per month. Creators can also set up “bonus” tiers for their patrons, with rewards ranging from early access to content to free merchandise.

Integration of Evernote Business and Patreon

One of Evernote Business’s greatest strengths is its ability to send customers reminders about their commitments and obligations. For example, if an Evernote Business customer has a presentation scheduled for Friday, his/her manager can remind him/her about it on Wednesday via Evernote Business. This same functionality could be used in a different way with Patreon. If a creator has a new release of a podcast available on Patreon, he/she could send patrons an email notification through Evernote Business. This would allow customers to have an easy way to remember upcoming activities they might not otherwise catch.

Similarly, Patreon could use the reminder functionality of Evernote Business to alert patrons to new content available on Patreon. This would be beneficial for patrons who do not use the Patreon app. Additionally, Evernote Business could send a notification email, similar to one sent when customers schedule presentations via Evernote Business, that warns them of upcoming paid content they might want to access. This would help patrons avoid missing out on paid content they’re interested in.

Benefits of Integration of Evernote Business and Patreon

Evernote Business and Patreon both offer excellent products to their respective communities. However, they are distinctly separate platforms despite being targeted towards the same community. As such, there is no built-in integration between them. By integrating Evernote Business and Patreon, Evernote and Patreon can both benefit by providing a product that meets the needs of users and enhances the value of existing products.

One benefit of integrating Evernote Business with Patreon is that it helps users manage all their commitments in one place. For example, if a user makes updates to his/her calendar within Evernote Business and then receives an email notification from Patreon reminding him/her that he/she has an upcoming video release on Patreon, he/she will know to update his/her calendar once again after watching the video. Integrating Evernote Business and Patreon also helps ensure users do not miss important commitments or obligations because they were notified about these things on two separate platforms. Additionally, integrating these services allows customers to easily find information without having to switch between multiple platforms.

Another benefit of integrating these services is that it encourages users to commit to activities they may otherwise have skipped. Users who receive an email notification through Evernote Business that reminds them of an upcoming video release on Patreon may decide to commit to the activity so they can have access to the video. In turn, users who watch videos may commit to the activity so they feel better about not having to pay for it later on. If users commit to these activities more often (due to integration of the services. than they would have otherwise, both Evernote and Patreon win as their revenue increases.

Finally, integrating these services gives customers an easy way to find and manage all of their commitments in one place. For example, if an accountant has a client who has paid him/her $100 per month on Patreon for six months in a row but has missed two payments so far, he/she can view this information easily in one place. His/her own calendar within Evernote Business (Figure A. He/she might not be able to view this information in one place if the client had canceled payments through PayPal or if both payments were made through PayPal (which does not integrate with Evernote Business. In other words, integrating these services allows customers easier access to all their information in one place.

Evernote Business and Patreon are both excellent products targeted at customers who need help managing their calendars and commitments. However, there is no built-in integration between them despite serving overlapping customer bases and offering similar sputions. By integrating these services together, each business will be able to obtain benefits while helping its respective customers do the same thing.
