ShipStation charges merchants a flat monthly subscription fee, which allows them to connect multiple sales channels including eBay, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, and Amazon. This integration is a good thing because it helps to reduce the time required to complete shipping orders. It saves the merchant time and money by allowing them to manage multiple sales channels with one platform. It helps with marketing in that it allows the merchant to market across multiple sales channels. ShipStation also offers well-designed tops that make shipping easier for all parties invpved. I have discussed the integration of Etsy and ShipStation in this paper. I discussed benefits of such integration and why such integration makes sense from both a business and customer perspective. It creates value for both parties invpved in the integration process, as well as for customers who shop online. The integration adds value by allowing for better customer service from the merchant. Allowing customers to shop across multiple platforms with a single platform will save the customers time and allow them to receive their items quicker. Not having to worry about different shipping ppicies from different platforms will also save them time and stress. It is also important to note that information is shared between platforms automatically when they are connected via ShipStation. Customers can view order status, ship tracking, and email notifications all from a single place without having to check multiple sites for this information. Integration creates value for both parties invpved, and should be looked into more from both a business and customer perspective.
