In addition to having a virtual meeting where customers can view products and leave comments, sellers will also have the option of hpding a live sales event in a conference room. Members in the conference room will be able to purchase a product from a seller in real time. The seller will enter the sales event using Adobe Connect. When she enters the room, she will have a list of available items that customers have already purchased in that sales event. She can then add more items to the list as they become available for purchase. To add an item to the sales list, she can either choose from a drop down menu of items or take a picture of it with her camera phone and upload it to the conference room. Once she has added her item to the sales list, customers can buy it using PayPal or credit card. The money will be transferred directly into her PayPal account without her having to send out an invoice or make an extra trip to the bank. Customers may also choose to purchase an item directly through Etsy using their credit cards without ever entering an Etsy conference room. This integration will make it possible for sellers to hpd virtual sales events without having to travel back and forth between their homes and their banks or mail orders out to their customers.
