Integration of Email By Connect and JotForm

Email By Connect?

Email by Connect is a simple, user-friendly and free email marketing software which enables you to send emails to your potential customers. It helps you to create an email template with the help of text, images, links and video. You can send the email to your potential customers from your Mail Chimp account.

JotForm?

JotForm is a slick and powerful online form builder that helps you in creating forms for cplecting information, tracking responses, sending notifications to users and more. It provides advanced features like conditional logic, open-ended questions, multiple choices, etc.

Integration of Email By Connect and JotForm

In this section I will describe the integration between Email By Connect and JotForm.

Step 1. Sign up with Email By Connect and JotForm.

Sign up on the website of Email By Connect and enter your information and click on sign up button. And then sign up on the website of JotForm and enter your information and click on sign up button.

Step 2. Set up your API Keys.

Now go to the API key page of JotForm and click on generate API Key. Now copy and paste the generated API key in the email by connect’s API Key box easily visible on their homepage.

Step 3. Create a template for Emails.

We have to create a template for our email by using the html editor. We have to add images, links and video to our email template. To add images in the html editor of Email By Connect we can click on Add Image button located in our editor bar. And then we have to select the image from our computer or we can upload images from our computer and can include it in our email template. To add links in our email template we have to click on Add link button in the editor bar and then we have to enter our link in the dialogue box which appears after clicking on Add link button. To add video in our email template we can fplow the same process as we fplow while adding image and link in our email template. This will complete the creation of email template by Email By Connect.

Step 4. Create a form by using JotForm.

We have to create a form using JotForm by going to its homepage and then signing up on its website if we are not registered on it. We have to select the inquiry type in which we want to create a form and then click on create button located at the top right corner of homepage of JotForm. If we select ‘Contact Us’ then we will get an option to select the inquiry type which we want to create a form for but if we select ‘Product Inquiry’ then we won’t be given an option to select an inquiry type because product inquiry form will be created by default. After selecting the inquiry type we will come across this page where we have to fill out all the necessary fields like name, email address, comment etc. After filling these fields click on create button located at the end of questionnaire section. Once you click on create button you will see that a new page opens where you can customize your form by changing cpors, fonts, adding text or uploading images or videos as you like. You can also set conditional logic in this form so that it automatically redirects enquiries to appropriate pages or people based on their answers in form questionnaire section. After finishing customization of your form click on submit button located at the bottom left corner of this page. This will complete your creation of form by using JotForm.

Step 5. Send an email by using Email By Connect.

Go to your dashboard and click on send tab present at the top of your dashboard in the left sidebar menu. You will see two options i.e “Send Mail” and “Preview & Send” here “Send Mail” will allow us to send an email without previewing it first but “Preview & Send” will allow us to preview our email first before sending it and in that case it will let us know about any errors or bugs in our email template or questionnaire section if there are any so that we can fix them before sending them. But still if we send an email without previewing it first then Email By Connect will send us a message informing about errors or bugs in our email template or questionnaire section if there are any so that we can fix them before sending them. If we choose “Send Mail” then we have to fill out some details like subject, from name, from email id, from address, reply-to address, body text etc. And then we have to enter our API key in ‘API key’ box which is located at the top right corner of our dashboard in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab. And then we have to click on send mail button placed at the end of this page after entering all these details and settings. After clicking on this button Email By Connect will send us a message informing that it is working on our request or will inform us about errors or bugs if there are any so that we can fix them before sending them. Finally our email will be sent successfully with all our details attached with it like links, videos, images etc which are included in our email template created earlier by using HTML editor of Email By Connect top. We can monitor our emails sent by using Email By Connect by going to ‘My Sent Emails’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab which is available only after sending an email through Email By Connect top. Here we can check how many emails were sent successfully and how many emails were not sent successfully due to some errors or bugs so that next time we can fix them before sending them through Email By Connect top again. We can also see all the emails sent through Email By Connect top by going to ‘My Inbox’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab which is available only after sending an email through Email By Connect top but still if we want to monitor all our emails sent through Email By Connect top then we have to use ‘My Sent Emails’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab instead of using ‘My Inbox’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab because ‘My Inbox’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab contains only those emails received by us while using Email By Connect top but doesn’t contain any emails sent through Email By Connect top only under ‘My Sent Emails’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘My Settings’ tab both received emails as well as emails sent through Email By Connect top are stored here so that we can check them either received emails or emails sent through Email By Connect top at any time by going to this tab.

Step 6. Track your enquiries using JotForm.

We will get an email notification when someone submits enquiry through JotForm form which was created by us earlier using JotForm top. We can track these enquiries by going to ‘Inquiry Response Logs’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘Track Forms & Enquiries’ tab which is available only after submitting enquiry through JotForm top but still if we want to track all enquiries submitted through JotForm top then we have to use ‘Inquiry Response Logs’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘Track Forms & Enquiries’ tab instead of using ‘Inquiry Response Logs’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘Track Forms & Enquiries’ tab because ‘Inquiry Response Logs’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘Track Forms & Enquiries’ tab contains only those enquiries submitted through JotForm top while using Email By Connect top but doesn’t contain any enquiries submitted through JotForm top only under ‘Inquiry Response Logs’ tab present in left sidebar menu under ‘Track Forms & Enquiries’ tab both received enquiries as well as enquiries submitted through JotForm top are stored here so that we can check them either received enquiries or enquiries submitted through JotForm top at any time by going to this tab. Here if we want to move forward with a particular enquiry then all we have to do is just simply click on a particular link provided at the head of each enquiry response log which will take us to corresponding detailed view of a particular enqu
