Prerequisites for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

For integrating your Microsoft Dynamics CRM instance with other applications, you need to have the fplowing set up:

You must have a partner record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that has a “Primary Contact Record Type” equal to “Shippo Partner” and a “Primary Contact Code” equal to your partnership code in Shippo (you can get it from your Shippo account. To create a new partner, fplow these steps. Go to Settings > Distribution > Partners , and click New . In the General section add the contact details such as contact name and address. In the Partner Details section add information about your company including name and company type (in this case it should be “Shipper”. In the Licensing Details section add your partnership code created in Shippo if you have created one earlier. Click Save . Add a new contact record for yourself in Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a “Primary Contact Code” equal to your personal partner code in Shippo. Add a new customer record for yourself in Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a “Customer Type” equal to “Shipper” and a “Product Type” equal to “Shipping Provider Product Category”. This information is needed because Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not have a default shipping provider product category so we have to create one on our own using this information. Add a new carrier record for yourself in Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a “Carrier Name” equal to “Self-Service Carrier” and an “Account Number” equal to 0 (zero.
