Integration of Dropbox and Storenvy

In this day and age where technpogy is always growing, new companies are being established and new ideas are always being created. This is why I chose to write about Dropbox and Storenvy as my topic for this assignment. These two companies are both innovative and give their customers what they want – easy access to files and a chance to get creative.

Integration of Dropbox and Storenvy

Dropbox integrated with Storenvy in August of 2011 by announcing a new service called Dropify. They announced that “Dropify allows you to browse and buy products from your favorite stores directly from your Dropbox fpders.” This was a great move for Dropbox because it will give the users another reason to use the service. It also gives Storenvy another market that they can sell their products in. Now customers can purchase items right from their account without having to go to the website and search for what they want. They can just click on the link corresponding to the item and it will take them to the product page. This is also a great way for Storenvy because it makes it easier for their customers to find what they are looking for. If you need something special, it could be in your Dropbox fpder or in your camera rpl. All you have to do is go to your Dropbox account and order anything you want. You will not have to worry about missing out on anything that you might want to purchase.

The benefits of integrating Dropbox and Storenvy are endless. The main benefit is the fact that you don’t have to leave either site in order to purchase something. You can use it on either site, all you have to do is upload the files that you need and you’re good to go! Another benefit is that there is no waiting time between each process. If you want to order something and don’t know where it is located, then all you have to do is find it in your Dropbox fpder or camera rpl, make sure it looks like what you want, and click on the link from there. This will automatically take you to the website and allow you to purchase the product. Another great benefit is that if the customer has an account with both sites then they can use that account on both sites! A lot of people do not like when they create an account somewhere only for someone else to create an account with the same email address as them, but if they already have an account with Dropbox or Storenvy then they don’t have to worry about this anymore because it is already taken care of! Overall, integrating Dropbox and Storenvy has been a great idea and now everyone has more benefits to enjoy!

The conclusion of my article will be that integrating Dropbox and Storenvy has given these two sites even more advantages than they already had before. Customers now have more reasons to stay loyal to either site. There are many benefits for both sites when it comes to this integration, so I think they should keep doing this because it has been very successful for both companies!
