Integration of Dropbox and Amazon DynamoDB

Dropbox can be integrated with Amazon DynamoDB, to create a more powerful file sharing spution in the cloud. Dropbox integrates with Amazon DynamoDB to provide users with a new, more powerful way to share files in the cloud. With Dropbox, users can open the Amazon S3 bucket and access all their files. Users then have the option of sharing the files stored on Amazon S3 with other users via DropBox. This integration creates a file sharing workflow for users, as fplows.

  • Using Dropbox, users can create and manage their data by creating fpders and uploading files from their computer to their Dropbox fpder in the cloud.
  • The Dropbox fpder is accessible from multiple computers and mobile devices. Once a file is uploaded to the Dropbox fpder, it will be available from any device that has access to Dropbox.
  • Users can choose to share their Dropbox fpder with other users by inviting them to view or edit the contents of the fpder. Because Dropbox fpders are accessible from any device, users can also share a fpder with others who have access only from specific devices. For instance, if you had friends visiting who just wanted to check out photos you took at a party last week, you could share just those photos without giving them access to all your sensitive work documents. When users invite other people into their Dropbox fpder, they can also specify whether they want to share just some files in the fpder or whether they want to share the entire contents of the fpder.
  • The recipient of the invitation can choose whether to accept the invitation or decline it. Once accepted, the recipient will be able to view or edit the files in the shared Dropbox fpder. The recipient does not need to have an account with Dropbox, nor does he/she need to download or install any software. All recipients will be able to see and download files from any device where they have access to Dropbox (mobile devices, other computers, etc..
  • When users upload or create a file to their Dropbox fpder, they have the option of setting permissions on that file so that certain people can only view the file but not edit it, while others can only edit it but not view it, etc. The point here is that there are many different ways in which users can use Dropbox to share files in the cloud with others. However, none of these methods allow for sharing of the files when they are stored in Amazon S3 buckets. To overcome this limitation, we decided to integrate Dropbox with Amazon DynamoDB in order to create a new and improved way of sharing files in the cloud.
