The company I am researching is Drip and MINDBODY. Drip provides a spution for small to medium sized businesses who don’t have the resources, staff, or know-how to create their own website. Drip helps by creating the website for them and allowing the business owners to maintain it through an online dashboard.

Drip is a company headquartered in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2011 by Rob Walling and Mike Taber as a platform for programmers to learn and teach other programmers how to build a website and run an online business. (Walling 2012)

Drip has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America. (Inc. 2017. The company’s growth has been staggering, mainly due to its partnership with MINDBODY.

MINDBODY is a global cloud software and services company that streamlines business operations for more than 10 million clients worldwide. This includes everything from booking appointments and scheduling classes, to billing clients and employees, cplecting payments, and analyzing data. (Mindbody 2017)

In 2016, Drip acquired MINDBODY, which was founded in 2004 by CEO Randy Parker and his co-founder. (Hauf 2017. The two companies had been working together since 2014, so when they joined forces it was a natural fit. (Parker 2017. Simon Robson, the former COO of MINDBODY, said that the deal was “a perfect match” in many ways. (Robson 2017)

Integration of Drip and MINDBODY

Drip has more than a dozen different plans based on the number of leads that customers are looking to send to their businesses. The more leads you want to send the business, the more you pay for the plan. Once you sign up for a plan, you can choose to connect your accounts with Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. This will allow your targeted audience to find you easily on social media. Another option is to use the Google AdWords tops provided by Drip.
