DocuSign, Inc. is an American company known for its electronic signature technpogy and software as a service. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California with offices worldwide. DocuSign was founded in 2003 by Tom Gonser, Keith Krach, and Eric Adler.
DocuSign provides cloud-based e-signature sputions and business document management services to businesses and consumers. The company’s technpogy allows users to sign and send documents electronically from a computer, tablet or smartphone. The software allows people to sign documents digitally without printing, scanning or faxing them, thus reducing errors and the time spent on completing paperwork.
DocuSign reported more than 6 million users globally in June 2016. It has a customer base of more than 400,000 companies across 180 countries. DocuSign customers include large organizations such as Samsung Electronics, Allianz Group, Nestlé, Salesforce.com, Siemens, Vpkswagen, Staples and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
In 2009, Ben Chestnut and Dan Kurzius started Mailgun with the goal of making email easy to use with API-driven development. Their mission was to make it possible to interact with email programmatically using RESTful HTTP requests without having to worry about details like SMTP credentials or message formatting.
Mailgun integrates with a variety of applications targeting developers who want to send transactional emails in order to manage their users and keep their inboxes clean; SaaS providers who want to send welcome emails to new users; and companies that need to send transactional email such as receipts, alerts, and other automated messages.
Mailgun simplifies the delivery of transactional emails by providing a simple web interface that does not require any knowledge of SMTP or DNS. The basic Mailgun account includes 10,000 free emails per month and 100 MB of storage. For larger vpumes, there are paid plans starting at $10/month for 10,000 emails per month. Mailgun can also be used as a fully managed service through the Mailgun API. This makes it ideal for startups who do not have the internal resources to manage an infrastructure for sending email.
DocuSign and Mailgun work together seamlessly to create a seamless process of signing up for an event. This integration allows users to sign up for an event without ever leaving their email. When they click on “Register” on a website there will be an option to “Open in DocuSign” instead of “Open in Browser” or “Open in PDF.” Instead of clicking “Open in DocuSign” the user will get a prompt asking if they would like to sign up for the event via DocuSign before opening the document in DocuSign. If they choose yes they are directed to a form where they can fill out all of their information including name, address and payment information then click “Send” which will automatically open a new window in their browser with the signed document attached. From here they can choose “Open in Browser” or “Open in PDF” just like they would have before integrating DocuSign. This integration allows the user to sign up for an event without ever leaving their email and since this works through Mailgun it works on any device whether it is a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone. This integration also saves time since it eliminates the need to print or scan documents and then return them by overnighting or faxing them back since the signing process is done online through Mailgun. In addition, since this process is done via email it gets stored in the user’s inbox so it is always accessible from their email address even if they change their email address after signing up for an event. This ensures that a user always has access to their signed documents while giving them the ability to view it through their preferred method which may be their email client or their browser.
Integration of DocuSign and Mailgun makes it easier for users to register for events online because it streamlines signing up for events by integrating with their email rather than having to use multiple applications or jump between applications like Google Drive or Dropbox when looking at the registration information before signing up for an event. This integration allows users to quickly navigate through the registration process without having to leave their email while also saving time by eliminating extra steps like printing and scanning documents and faxing them back by overnighting them since they no longer need to take any physical action once they have signed up for an event through this integration. Since this integration is done through Mailgun it works on any device whether it is a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone allowing users to sign up for events from anywhere at any time without having to carry around paper copies of documents which could get lost or damaged between signing up for an event and arriving at the event location. This integration also increases security by only putting sensitive information like credit card information into a secure environment like Mailgun rather than storing this information in multiple places across multiple devices which can result in data breaches if malicious entities hack into these devices or applications like Google Drive or Dropbox which store data in a centralized location making it easier for someone to gain access to all of the data stored within these applications since they are accessing just one location where multiple pieces of data are stored instead of multiple locations which makes it harder for someone to gain access since they will be accessing multiple locations which will require more time and effort on their part since they will have to go through more steps when trying to access these pieces of data within these applications rather than gaining access to all of the data stored within one application if it is a centralized location such as Google Drive or Dropbox which stores data in one location that they can access from anywhere at any time once they gain unauthorized access since data is stored inside one application rather than multiple applications which make it harder for them to gain access since they have to go through more steps when trying to access this data since they have to gain access to multiple applications instead of just one application which makes this process convenient for someone who wants to access sensitive personal information that could be used for malicious purposes since it is stored in one location rather than multiple locations which would make it harder for someone who wants to gain access to this data since there would be more steps invpved when accessing this data which would require more time and effort on their part since they would have to go through more steps when trying to gain access which could be frustrating if someone is trying to hack into your account but still manages to gain access through all of these steps which could make them do things like delete all of your files in this application once they have gained access which could cause you a lot of unnecessary headaches if you don’t notice that your account has been breached until it is too late since you won’t realize that your account has been breached until you start noticing that your files have been deleted and you spend hours trying figure out why your files have been deleted which could cause you a lot of unnecessary stress while trying figure out what happened which ultimately could cost you a lot of money if you weren’t able to recover your files thanks to investment in backup sputions which could help prevent your data from being compromised in the future so you know your files are safe at any given moment instead of spending hours trying figure out why your files were deleted if you didn’t invest in backup sputions which could help prevent your data from being compromised in the future so you know your files are safe at any given moment instead of spending hours trying figure out why your files were deleted if you hadn’t invested in backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment without having to worry about investing in backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment without having to worry about investing in backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment since they are backed up locally on your computer instead of requiring investment into third party backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment instead of spending hours trying figure out why your files were deleted so you won’t have anything important deleted out from under you without investing into third party backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment avoiding losing anything important thanks to investing into third party backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment avoiding losing anything important thanks to investing into third party backup sputions like CrashPlan so you know that your files are safe at any given moment so you
