How DEAR Inventory & ActiveCampaign Integrations Work

Integration of DEAR Inventory and ActiveCampaign

  • DEAR Inventory?
  • DEAR Inventory is the software used by the ActiveCampaign team to track inventory of their products. It is a simple list of products with quantity on hand (see above screenshot.

  • ActiveCampaign?
  • ActiveCampaign is one of the leading marketing automation tops that helps businesses to automate email marketing, social media marketing, and other digital marketing campaigns.

  • Integration of DEAR Inventory and ActiveCampaign
    • An ActiveCampaign user can create a DEAR Inventory product in ActiveCampaign from any of the fplowing options:

  • Create a new product using the Add Product menu option from the sidebar menu option on the left.
  • Clicking on an existing product in ActiveCampaign which will then give you the option to create a DEAR Inventory product using the Add DEAR Product option.
  • You can create a DEAR Inventory product directly from the DEAR Inventory dashboard by clicking on Add DEAR Product button as shown below.
    • If you are creating a product from Activecampaign, you can link it to your existing DEAR Inventory product by providing a product name and the unique ID of your DEAR Inventory product.
    • The screenshot below shows how I have linked a DEAR Inventory product to ActiveCampaign’s new product I created in step 1.(iii.
    • From here, we can add more details about our product, such as shipping information, price, and description, as well as any custom fields we may need for the products in our inventory.
    • After adding all the required details about our new product, we can click on Save Changes at the bottom right corner of the page. This will then take us back to our ActiveCampaign dashboard where we can see that our new product has been added.
    • We can now manage all our products from either ActiveCampaign or DEAR Inventory. By accessing DEAR Inventory, users can view and edit the data in their products, as well as view inventory levels for each SKU, including any current stock alerts set up.
    • Users who have access to both ActiveCampaign and DEAR Inventory can also see that an integration has been made between them by looking at their ActiveCampaign account settings page where they will see an option in their Account Settings called “Integrations”. Once clicked on this, they will be taken to a page which will display all integrations that they have enabled with ActiveCampaign. The screenshot below shows an integration between DEAR Inventory and ActiveCampaign.
    • By clicking on DEAR Inventory integration, it will take the user to the dashboard for that integration where they can view all the sales information related to their products through ActiveCampaign’s platform. The screenshot below shows how I have integrated my two previous clients’ websites into ActiveCampaign using this integration so that I can see all their sales information in one place within my ActiveCampaign account.
