Integration of Daylite and Freshworks CRM

Daylite

Daylite is a personal productivity application for managing schedules, to-do lists, contacts, notes, and tasks. It is designed for business professionals that work on the go, using the iPhone or iPad. Its features include creating new tasks, emailing or calling contacts, editing appointments, setting reminders, and attaching files.

Freshworks CRM

Freshworks CRM integrates with Daylite to provide a complete set of tops for managing your sales pipeline with your Daylite tasks. You can create tasks in Daylite or in Freshworks CRM, and they will be linked together seamlessly. Freshworks CRM has a built-in contact list that can be shared with Daylite. It also integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Salesforce.com.

Integration of Daylite and Freshworks CRM

In Freshworks CRM, use the “Add Task” feature to create a task from an existing contact, from a lead record, from an opportunity record, or from a support ticket. In Daylite, you can quickly add a task from your Inbox or from a list of your Daylite tasks. Click Save in Freshworks CRM to save the task as a draft to be edited later. Click Save & Close to save the task and close the edit screen. All other updates to a task will be saved automatically as you work in Daylite or Freshworks CRM.

Once a task is created in Daylite or Freshworks CRM, it can be linked to a contact record. In Freshworks CRM, click the pencil icon next to the task to open the edit screen. In the Link section at the bottom of the screen, next to Contact, select the appropriate contact record from the drop-down menu. In Daylite, you can link an existing task to a contact by clicking the target icon at the top right corner of the task and then selecting “Edit Details” (or if no details are present, selecting “Create Details”. Under Tasks and People, select the type of task you want to link (contact), and then click the pencil icon to open the edit screen for that record. Next to Contacts, select the appropriate contact record from the drop-down menu.

Finally, you can quickly create a new task from an existing contact record in Daylite by clicking on its phone number listed under Phone Number in any contact’s details screen. When you’re done creating the task, just press Done to finish creating the contact record. The contact will now appear as a contact in both Daylite and Freshworks CRM and its details will be shared between them.
