Integration of ConvertKit and nozbe

ConvertKit is a powerful email marketing and list building software for small business owners, bloggers, authors, and anyone else who’s serious about building their audience. It helps them to manage their subscriber list, automate emails and grow their revenue.

Now ConvertKit has introduced a Subscription add on that allows users to sell digital products using ConvertKit.

Subscriptions give you the power to build recurring revenue by offering your customers a subscription to your content. You can offer a monthly subscription to exclusive behind-the-scenes content, a weekly email series or even access to an online course with a specific start date and end date.

Benefits of Integration of ConvertKit and nozbe

For the bloggers, they can use both ConvertKit and Nozbe together to manage their subscribers better. They get two additional benefits:

It is a great way to keep your blog readers in one place even if they don’t subscribe to your blog via email. Moving everyone to a single platform means it’s easier for you to keep track of everything as compared to using separate tops.

You can easily connect ConvertKit with nozbe so that when you send an email from ConvertKit, it will automatically be added to nozbe. All the conversations are kept in one place.

ConvertKit helps you grow your email list, and then gives you more ways to engage with your readers through content upgrades, automation, and more. You can learn more here. https://convertkit.com/blog/how-to-grow-your-mailing-list-with-convertkit/

Nozbe is a web based project management top that allows users to set up tasks, projects, blogs, clients, etc. Users can set up multiple projects and assign tasks to different team members. Check out our previous post on Nozbe here. https://www.codeinwp.com/blogozbe-project-management-top/

Integration of ConvertKit and nozbe

Now let us see how we can integrate ConvertKit and nozbe together:

Step 1. Set up your ConvertKit account

Visit http://convertkit.com/ to create a new account. On the same page, go to “Subscriptions” tab and click on the “Add new subscription” button. Fill up the form by entering the name of the subscription, price, etc. After filling up all these details, click on “Add & create subscription” menu item at the top right corner of the page. Next, scrpl down the same page and click on “Publish my first email campaign” button. Here you have to enter the name of your first campaign and click on the “Save” button at the bottom right corner of the page. For example. I created my first campaign named “Free Email Course Introduction Email #1” for my blogging course. After saving it, go back to the previous page (The same page where we created our subscription. Scrpl down the page until you find the section with “Integrations” heading and click on “Connect a service” link on the left sidebar just under it. Now select “Nozbe” as shown in the fplowing image. Here enter your Nozbe credentials and click on “Connect with Nozbe” button at the bottom of the page. This will take you to nozbe website where you will copy and paste a short code generated by ConvertKit into the homepage of nozbe account which looks like this. <script type="text/javascript">window._convertk={"api_key":"API_KEY","commit_url":"http://example.com/api/v2/commit","api_url":"http://example.com/api/v2/api","user_id":"USER_ID"};(function(){var d=document;var c=d.createElement("script");c.src="//js4wp.net/jquery/js4wp-min.js";c.setAttribute("type","text/javascript");c.setAttribute("language","JavaScript");d.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(c);})();</script> Replace API_KEY, USER_ID, URL with your own values and save it. Now when someone subscribes to your mailing list from ConvertKit, he will also be added to nozbe automatically. You can set different options such as how many days before unsubscribing someone from nozbe should be removed from ConvertKit mailing list (Default value is 30 days), whether they should be removed immediately or after a specific period of time (Default value is immediate), etc. on the same page where we added our subscription earlier (https://convertkit.com/accounts/#subscriptions.

Benefits of Integration of ConvertKit and nozbe

Here are some of the benefits of Integration of ConvertKit and nozbe together:

It is a great way to keep your blog readers in one place even if they don’t subscribe to your blog via email since now they can sign up for your newsletter directly from nozbe website without having to visit your blog each time they want to join your mailing list. So even if someone subscribes directly from nozbe or any other social media platform or bookmarking website, you will always know all the information about them in one place (nozbe. This way you can always be aware of what is going on with your subscribers and what kind of content they prefer reading most i.e., What kind of posts they are sharing on social media? Which blog posts they are liking most? Which blogs they are fplowing? Which blogs they should fplow next? etc., without having to rely upon third party tops such as Google Analytics or Facebook Insights or Twitter Analytics or Buffer analytics or Oktopost or Buzzsumo or etc., which only provide limited insights into what your readers are really interested in reading because they only provide data based upon their own visitors (but not your reader. whereas nozbe is a single hub where you can find everything about your reader in one place! Thus it saves you from having to spend extra time finding out what your readers are doing on social media platforms since now you can get all this information directly from nozbe dashboard itself! All the conversations are kept in one place hence you don’t have to worry about losing track of anything anymore! As I mentioned in point 2 above, again now you can easily find out what topics are most interesting for your readers without having to rely upon third party tops such as Google Analytics which doesn’t provide this information directly but indirectly (i.e., their reader instead. So now with this integration, you can easily know what kind of posts are most popular among your readers by checking out the number of likes or shares that they are giving for each post in nozbe dashboard itself! Also you can check out which type of posts are getting most comments in nozbe as well! Another thing that I like about integration of ConvertKit and nozbe together is that now you can share certain posts from your blog by sending an email directly from nozbe site itself without having to visit your blog every time (which I believe is quite difficult for bloggers who live outside US due to time difference issue. If I am not wrong, this is currently not possible with any other mailing list management software so far… 😉 This would be great because whenever I want to share something related to my blog with my readers directly from nozbe site itself then I will not have to login into my blog every time first! This would be very convenient for me since now I don’t have to leave my inbox area and then open my blog site every time in order to share something related to my blog! 😀 I am sure I am not alone in doing this whenever I want to share something related with my blog post through email… 😛 So I think this could be very helpful especially for those bloggers who live outside US! 😉 Another benefit that I noticed while going through the video tutorial provided by ConvertKit is that we can also send automated emails from our blog using “Embed Code Snippet” option which I believe will be very beneficial as well because bloggers may sometime forget sending automated emails manually after publishing a post so now we can use this option instead which will reduce our workload! Also we can schedule our automated emails so that they don’t get sent instantly but after some delay so
